Silver Plating always seems to break something -- arcing

I really have no idea what CDR is, maybe you could link a sticky article or YT vid that explains.

My 18650s I use are Samsung 30Qs in the pink wrapper
My 20700 I use are Sanyo Bs in the red wrapper

Sorry to bump a old thread.

Continuous Discharge Rating, the amp draw (continuous current draw) the battery can safely handle.

If you never heard of CDR then I get the impression you never read a battery safety guide in your life and have no business using a mech mod until you did.

Thanks for posting that. I just bought 12 LG HB6 cells that Mooch recommends. I'm going to send my Samsung 30Qs to a friend that only uses regulated box mods at medium wattage with his sub-ohm tanks.

Is there a 20700 cell that's preferred for mech mods? I searched online for one with a higher AMP rating than the Sanyo Bs, but didn't find much. The Sanyo Bs have a rating of 16 amps according to Mooch.

Would be nicer to find a 20700 cell with a higher amp rating I guess for safety reasons.

The 20700Bs work great for lower wattage vaping! I bought 4 to try in my pulsars with .4 ohm builds and am loving them! Finally got a battery that can match their juice capacity. Just ordered another 4.
