Site issues again....?

Anyone else experiencing slow loading times? It seems to be off and on quite frequently... one moment the page doesn't load, then the next minute everything's zippy again. Back and forth it's been like this for days...

Just wonderin if it's just my connection, or if other people are experiencing this...

Yep... getting multiple posts in email subscribed threads. That's almost always a sure sign of an overloaded server....

When you get 500+ users on the forum at any one time any server is going to be slow.
That is the number I just saw from checking.

Strange. I've been on pretty much all day and I've not noticed any slowdown at all.

Very slow to load here, course, I'm in the woods and its raining.

While I realize a high amount of users are going to slow the site down, I experience the same thing late at night when there are fewer members online.

This would be because of the daily backups we take.


As for the slow loading times at other times of the day, I have not experienced this at all.

I seem to experience it the most right around 12:00am - 1:30 am. Seems like server overload but there also seems to be less people on at that time which made me think it was something on my side. Starting to think not so much now.

all day for me and it actually started last night. So the time thing isn`t it nor the users I watch those numbers all the time and it`s never caused trouble.
And the first time I`ve had trouble getting post up as well. Blame it on my computer? Nope sister said the same thing before she went to work at 9PM it failed to post her post on her computer.

It is starting like it did before the last upgrade or whatever.

natureboy have same issues off and on.
whether low amount of users or high amount.
could be on a shared hosting which would cause that.
im use to being on dedicated server with about 1-2k users on and if it gets around 2k it crawls sometimes more then 2k or when its getting attacked.
