Skeleton Key's are collector items... My top 3 mods I own are, Skeleton Key, Brass Cartel Mod, and Copper Cartel mod... all three hit about the same, voltage drop about the same... but all three are pretty hard to come by, and works of art in my opinion. As JarredDizzle said, high-end mechs with silver plated contacts are the way to go.

Don't go with any telescoping mods, or side firing button mods, they typically will have high voltage drop, and also crappy switches. That's why mostly all high end mechs are bottom firing these days. Telescoping is kinda out dated. It comes down to which one you like the most. I got a key because I love what that brand stands for.

I have bought the Stillare V3 (LOVE THIS ATTY!), Stillare V2, Copper Cartel Mod, Brass Cartel Mod, becuase I love the cartel brand. I've met the team at ECC-2014 and they are all hardcore vapers/cloud chasing sub-ohmers, I like to buy from brands that pretty much buy the same products as myself and care about quality. I have no issue dropping $300.00 on a mod, it's my hobby :)

Anything that keeps you from going back to cigarettes in my opinion is a WIN! even if it's a bargain vaping setup i.e. K100 w/ an IGO-W atty...hell thats what I started out with, and now literally thousands of dollars later, I'm smoke free!! That's all that matters, buy what you like, go for good conductivity, and looks.

These days (to me) mod shopping is about silver plated contacts, it's a must. I won't buy any mods that aren't silver-plated... it's a minor upgrade the mod company can do to make their mods even that much better, and really a no brainer in my opinion. I like the single 18650/26650 mods, the compact mods I don't care for. I love VTC5's so I buy my mods that are really just made for 18650 batteries... because all I run is sub-ohm micros and VTC5s. It's nice that my key and cartel mods came with the extra tubes to run the smaller batteries, but they just sit in a drawer in my desk never to be used.

excuse the .... pictures... crap low res cellphone shot - I'll post some high-res ones later. Let me tell you though, vaping this stillarev3, with 3 micro coils, 6 wraps 26g GPLAT wire w/ organic Japanese cotton wicks via this Skeleton Key...man I'd like to think I'm rocking the Maybach of vaping setups at the moment.

I am one happy vaper. Big Shout Outs to Marquis for hookin me up!!!

There's some secrets about this latest batch of SK's I can't leak yet... I have to wait for the official "green light" on their Registry. But man...all I have to say is 'dat switch tho...!" :vapor:

I haven't used my Skeleton Key yet. Nor the Ss and Brass flat caps I purchased.Looking for a new atty to put on it. Any suggestions?
Sat22? Oz22? Nauhualon? Looking for high-end attys for it primarily, any suggestions (Pros and Cons appreciated)?

I take it from your quote you're looking for genesis style atomizers? The Sat 22 and the Nauhualon are genny-style. My 2 cents on gensis is that they look cool, and they're convenient, not having to drip. They just don't get the job done for me though, every time I take off my Kayfun, Kraken, or Orchid I'm relieved to put an RDA back on my mod... RDA's just deliver my nicotine in doses that really do the trick.

I will say this on atties, I won't put anything close to my stillare V3 - native 3-micro coil setup... everything else just falls short.

I mean I'd highly advise you to google Stillare V3 - you'll probably pay around $130.00 for one. But man is it worth it... I'd say if you don't want a native 3 coil setup, if you're just looking for a standard high end atomizer I'd go with a Stillare V2, Plume Veil, Tugboat V2, or a Tobh v2.

The Tugboat's juice well is pretty deep, which is a pro and a con IMO - it's deep enough to where many beginning builders may struggle finding room to work with and adjust their coils since it's surrounded by the walls of the juice well. Or for a bargain, honestly I loved my authentic Patriot RDA.

For me when buying atomizers, I stick to this criteria:

1. Must have a juice well
2. Adjustable airflow (nowadays, mostly all high end atties have adjustable).
3. Reputable Company, good reviews on ECF.

---------------------------------

* - Probably the most important thing to go along with a "high end" atomizer, is having a high end mod with nice silver plated contacts.

Ever since I got my hands on the Stillare V3 - I'm keeping eyes peeled for different brands coming out with their own 4-post native 3-coil RDAs... Now traditional 3-post, native 2-coil atomizers are just 'meh' to me... there's just something about running 3 coils, organic cotton, air flow wide open, you just get cloud-chasing level vapor, but single-coil like flavor... its truly awesome... if you ever run into someone at your local B&M vape shop with a V3, ask them to try it out.

As far as my Skeleton Key goes, I have to be honest... it is the sexiest mod I own, no doubt. But it terms of straight up voltage drop/hit power/consistency... I still prefer my Brass Cartel Mod... I think it has a lot do with the fact my Cartel Mod is a brass 18650 tube. I wish the SK people would have just stuck to the 18650 size, keep it in one piece, better for conductivity.

It's really splitting hairs though, it's still amazing. I mean putting a .12ohm build in my Stillare V3 with either my Skeleton Key or my Cartel Mod, most people won't be able to tell a difference...
