Maybe she failed to quit cigs by vaping and this is the excuse she gave to her son...either that or her doctor is basing his opinion on flimsy data (or no data), which seems wrong in this situation. I wouldn't worry about the gas station clerk, find out who the doctor is and stay far, far away.

That recent study that had every one saying vaping was worse was such a stupid and bad ignorant study. They stated if you vaped over 4.7 volts you produce formaldehyde toxins and more carcinogens than cigarettes. But if you vaped 4.3 or lower volts there was absolutely no carcinogens present in the vapor. Now they did that test with a cheap top wick b&m taster coil. Rofl. At high wattage and volts. If you run that at 4.7 volts it might catch fire haha. That would be the most unpleasant vape and so nasty. The got carcinogens because they were frying a coil. Even the manufacturer stated that the tank wasn't ment for that and it would be so unpleasant nobody would ever vape it like that.
One thing that I do know is that i have been vaping for years. And I can breathe taste and smell better. I never weeze or get winded. I run miles, and do the insanity workout program.

The other day at work I was on my lunch break in a smoking area out side. this lady kept complaing to her husband that my smoke was bothering her. finally I looked over at her and said, it is not smoke I am not smoking a Cig, and the vapor that hasn't even made it your way will not even harm you, she then replied oh yes it will it is a smoke. I said mam if I sprayed air freshener in the air right now it would be 100 times more worse for you than my vapor, and on top of it mam I have no nicotine in this vape! LOL she got up and walked off her husband apologized to me while he sat their laughing!
I'd tell people like this that they're as dumb as a sack of hammers, but I'd have to find a sack of hammers and apologize to it for insulting it.

A gas station should be at the BOTTOM of all possible places to buy ejuice in any case. Online is much cheaper, and almost certainly a lot better; you don't get to taste first in either case. The only possible reason for buying in a store rather than online is if you get to taste first. And I'd go with what DC2 said -- if a doctor really said that, I'd find out how to go about getting that doctor relieved of his job AND his license to practice, because he's clearly much too stupid to practice medicine on my CAT, nevermind a human being. But I also doubt a doctor really said that, unless he got his degree from that ANTZ hotbed in SF.

I have vape mail including ejuice tomorrow. It was the only close option while waiting for my juices to get here. The closest vape shop is almost 20 miles from my house. But I will not but juice there again. That would be like when I used to buy my smokes from there. It seriously ruffled my feathers. i would have said "you're an idiot, just give me my ---- and keep your mouth shut as is your simple, underachieving, low paying job".
and if i was in a good mood, there's a slight chance i'd have left it at that. in a bad mood, i'd have got him riled up to the point there'd be no way to get him hired anywhere in a small radius after he was fired for the incident.

Yeah, sometimes the USPS doesn't cooperate; I had to actually buy some ejuice recently, because the USPS couldn't be bothered to get my flavors to me in a timely fashion.
It bugs me when idiots spout ignorant nonsense at me too, so I just say, over and over and over if I have to, to get them to shut up, "95%-99% safer than smoking." And to the ever-ready "when will you stop doing THAT?" I say "NEVER. Because if I stop THAT, I'll go right back to smoking." Because I'm quite sure I would. You know those commercials about smoking being a bully? That's it exactly. It's not that I would WANT to go back to smoking... but when that bully says SMOKE NOW, I either vape... or I'll smoke.
And I have to confess, the contrarian in me always loved smoking just to piss off all the puritanical control freaks. Apparently vaping pisses them off just as badly though, so I'm good with that.
I get the pleasure of pissing them off without cutting off my own nose. Andria
