Question.
I have a kayfun v1 that won't sit flush on my semovar. Even if I take out the screw of the top cap it won't screw on further than half way. What could be the issue? Vapes fine but there is a huge gap
Crisis situation..help needed: can't unscrew the hybrid adaptor from my kayfun. What complicates matters is that the adaptor is narrow and doesn't have enough space to exert force to unscrew it and its threads are really sharp and nicked my fingers.

Thanks for your time on this issue phone guy.
First of all to answer your question, yes I have adjusted the pin of the top cap and even taken it out fully and it won't screw on flush and just gets stuck at one point.
So here comes the point where it gets more odd. A friend of mine who actually introduced me to the semovar came by tonight with his Kayfuns and mod. It seems like the threadin on mine is a lil different than his kayfun v1. Maybe mine is one of the very very first runs? Idk. But here comes the fun part that I can't wrap my head around.
My kayfun sits flush on his top cap!!! It's still a lil unwilling to screw on with ease but it's flush on his cap. He was kind enough to swap caps with me and now we have one sexy look with nano kayfun v1 and the semovar in 350 mode just fantastic.
Thanks for the help though and I would still love to know what in the world the issue here was.

Rubber gloves for cleaning with chemicals around the house. Ask your wife or mommy.
Works a treat, cannot damage the metal, and no nicked fingers.
I am 100% serious.

Another thing that works great are wide rubber bands. The ones that are 1/4-3/8 inch wide are nice to keep in the travel bag.Actually it did!!..and now my wife is furious..it all started with her tweezers..then her cotton balls..and now her kitchen gloves..I think she was much better off when I was smoking![]()

So his atty on your cap = flush.
your atty on his cap = flush.
his atty on his cap = flush.
BUT: your atty on your cap = gap.
If swapping caps made you both happy, problem solved. (I guess). The only thing I can think of is your KF threads might be longer than the rest of the atty's you use, including your friends, and you might be hitting a rough thread down towards the end of your original cap? Maybe forcing might have cleared any obstruction, burrs, or whatever? I dunno.... but hey, if it aint broke, dont fix it.
To me it seems obvious a set of threads someone in YOUR items has an issue, that maybe is so small it only happend with that 1 combination... a little uneven threading on the atty combined with a little uneven threading on the cap simply resulted in no joy. But again, if all are happy, you both win.
I've checked tonight, a couple drippers, all fit flush, kayfun authentics and clones, all flush, fogger v4 flush... I could make everything I had near me work. I dunno.
GLAD YOU SORTED IT OUT! Another satisfied customer![]()
