Looking to upgrade from my ego to a Variable Voltage/mid, but they are so big. Almost bought a VAMO, and vaped amazing, just sooo long and wide. The Provari mini looks small but sooo much $$. I'd like to stay with tube instead of box mod, but maybe MVP or VTR is best, but still looking at options for a tube

Thanks in advance.

You can use the vamo in short mode with a 18350 battery (35 mm long) instead of the 18650 (65 mm long) battery, plus the bottom tube you remove to do that can thread onto the top to protect your tank!

I wonder how long the 18350s and charger will live and will the MVP pack last longer?
With a good charger like Nitecore, Pila or Xtar the removable Li-ion batteries like IMR 18350, 18650, etc. will last for about 300 charge cycles before they begin to lose an appreciable amount of capacity and need to be replaced. That's what the industry says, anyway. I think 200 charges is more likely. For non-removable batteries like found in the MVP2 and many other devices the same rule applies.

I can't recommend my Sigelei mods enough! My ZMax Mini is by far my go to mod. I have (6) pav mods but that ZMax mini is sooo well built and small with an 18350 battery! just can't go wrong with a Sigelei ZMax V3/ZMax Mini IMO :)

Yes, they are nice. But I wouldn't last all day at work on an 18350 and I don't want to carry around extra batteries in my pocket. That's why I didn't buy the ProVari mini....18490 is the smallest I use and most of the time I use 18650's in the ProVari and my V3.

I have two MVP's (a 3rd on the way), a Sigelei zmax v5, 2 smok vv winders, and a Provari. My husband didn't want anything to do with the MVP until he saw mine, held it, and tried his pockets with it. He's military, and there isn't a uniform pocket the MVP doesn't sit in nicely. The Zmax 5 was actually his, he ended up not liking it, not sure why, but he hasn't put his mvp down since we got it.

I got mine on Tuesday or Wednesday, haven't charged one yet. It looks bigger than it feels. I like the Zmax too, but we have run into issues with the tanks used on it being put on other devices. That requires fiddling with the coil center post to get it to make contact on a different mod (seems to be a popular quirk, the mod center post tends to push it up), so if you go that route, and don't want the fuss get a dedicated tank for it.
