yes,i know what you mean leaford.shipping prices are a killer,as is the long wait for replacements.

i cant believe the cost of atomisers in the usa,its just unreasonable, and it needs to change.

its easy to have the disposable approach in the uk,not so easy in the states.i think thats why our philosophies about how we use these devices differs somewhat.

OK, I have been using njoy for about three months now. I have seen others having atomisers go bad, so I decided to order a backup from Smart Fixx. Well I got it today, it is one of the ceramic ones, the amount of vapor is almost scary. I swear the amount that comes out is more than I inhaled. There is also no effort what so ever to inhale on this thing.

P.S. This is one of the all black ones.

I just got my SmartFixx atomizers today, and they look good so far.

The penstyle is easily the equal of the Njoy.

The mini is good, but so far I don't seem to have a compatable cartridge. I'm using a Janty Yentyl cartridge, and it doesn't fit quite right,s o I'm not sure I'm getting the most smoke from it that I can. The volume is decent, but I've gotten spoiled and used to much more.

Leoford- the Mini is realyl whimpy on vapor- The best way I found to coax an ok vapor from it is by startign the atomizer with a longish puff, and before you stop- switch to a full on straight inhale and keep it goign till light blinks- sometimes htis produces a fairly ok cloud- other times it doesn't- very hit or miss, but never it seems nearly as good as the penstyle.

They start off being very easy to inhale, then they get a bit harder as time goes on- and yep- sometimes it does seem liek htere is more exhaled than inhaled lol- makes ya wonder whrre it's comign from lol

Well, Naz, maybe you got a bad one, but I definitely got a good one. I figured out my problem wasn't the cartridge, it was the liquid. With better liquid, it works pretty good. It's not as good as my Janty Yentyl, but not far off. Easy draw, decent smoke.

But not as good as the penstyle, no. I think the MyECig 901 is the only mini that comes close to a penstyle, and it actually blows away most penstyles. When it's working, that is. The atomizers seem to damage easy. But so do they all, right?

But anyway, I'm pleased with both Smartfixx atomizers. I'll probably try their batteries mext time I need some. But not the cartridges. They're cheaper than Njoy, but still overpriced. And only one flavor? What's with that?

And speaking of only one, why don't you get to choose the color?

The color of hte pen? You can choose between the older (and some say better) model which is white, or hte new which is black. Did you do a comparison video of the smartfixx? Also, the Carts do seem ot last quite al ong time- not sure why. Yeah- the atomizers seem very delicate- wish htey were more robust. Yeah it stinks that they only offer one flavor- If Epuffer.com is infact the very same thing as SmartFixx, they do have other flavors, plus they sell E-liquid (They state it's Chinese- so it might be E-cigg liquid, but they also stated that they are goign to make hteir own in the near future. Their prices are aroudn $10 cheaper than SmartFixx's, but that might be because it's Canadian prices too.

back to the review of SmartFixx- So far I am havign terrible luck with their atomizers- I'm smoking a brand new one that I started on just 2 days ago, as my other penstyle one died on me- and htis one is already startign to heat up badly after only a coupel of drags- I'm talking liek after only 3-4- I don't even go until the light starts blinking, and it's gettign too hot- SmatFixx is gonna flip if I email them yet again- I just emailed em 2 days ago for a replacement- Not sure what's goign on with htese atomizers- they just seem realyl cheap- my first one lasted 13 day, my mini lasted only 3, this newest one is only 2 days old and already it's doign hwat the others did hwen they died- heating up too quick. This realyl stinks as I've spent a total of $325 for a mini and a penstyle plus extra carts & charger & I haven't even been a month yet & they are crapping out on me already. Yeah- the service is great- but in my opinion, the product's atomizers either really stink, or I'm just not very lucky & keep gettign defective oens- Real pleased with Cart life, with the amoutn of vapor, but very dissapointed with hte atomizer performance so far. I've been really careful with htis one too- not takign long drags off it, not over-working it, letting it 'rest' between drags to cool down sufficiently etc. Not very happy with the atomizer life.

the two that have died on me started heating up real quick, then I started getting a bad taste, and they weren't producign good vapor- then they died- Normally, they do heat up, but the ones that died on me just heated up too quickly- to point of being uncomfortable to hold almsot after only a few drag. I watch the E-smoking vids by leoford and Ratindahat, and htey are puffign away pretty steady, but there's no way I can do that with mine as they would be too hot to hold almost if i tried that. When I first start smoking them when htey were new, I could do that but as hte days wore on, they justy got hot quicker and quicker on me and weren't givign off good vapor even with a fresh battery and new Cartridge- maybe I'm just nervous abotu hte atomizer dying on me and over-reactign on this latest one, but I'll see how it's still performign in hte comign days- but judgign by my last failed atomizers, thigns went downhill pretty quick once htey start3d heating up quick- so we'll see what happens

I just posted about this, but what kind of carts are you using? I tried using the e-cig carts and I noticed that they were geting fibers all over the metal bit in the atomizer, causing a nasty taste and I think contributing to my chest pains(smoking polyester is not good for you:)). I cleaned out the atomizer and put in a fresh smart fixx cart and all is well and my atomizer is not getting as hot. I also notice that it feels much better on my lungs, just like it did at first. good luck

little update, and maybe a tip- I thought my first penstyle atomizer was kaput- was heating up really fast- not producing any smoke, and htere was a burnt flavor when taking a vaporless drag- well, just for the heck of it I squeezed some carts out (another little tip for htose that don't have syringes- take hte plastic that the carts coem wrapped in- stick and old cart wool in it, squeeze it from the top down, plastic will fill with some juice, then remove cart wool and take an eyedropper and get the juice out of hte plastic- it's a little messy, but works fine) and hten I dropped a couple of drops right onto the atomizer (I figred what hte heck as I thought hte atomizer was fried anyway) and after a coupel of drysmoking drags, the burtn taste went away and i5t was produsing vapor again, so I popped in a new cartridge, and it seems to be workign again-

I think what might have happened was that I tried to 'clean the atomizer' by blowing on the battery end of it, and I think I dried it out too mcuh- If you blow on battery end, or leave your atomizers propped up over night to drain out gunk, make sure to reprime them before use again by dropping in some e liquid- but ya'll probably already know that, but I didn't & thought my atomizer was fried. Hopefully I can get a week or two more use out of htis atomizer- it's 13 days old use-wise & woudl be nice if itgoes a week or two more as they are so durn expensive at SmartFixx- wish htere were soem el-cheapo atomizers that fit the SmartFixx pens- I noted in another htread that hte Super Cigg atomizers are only $7.00 (although they are for a mini type cigg- but usually mini and pensyle atomizers are abotu hte same price) ould be fantastic if we coudl find some atomizers for abotu $10- coudl stock up on them- anyways- we'll see if my old atomozer is ressurected or not- will update in a couple of days

Good for you. :) Yes when an atomizer is fully kaput it stays cold. The doc wrote about it here: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=26&p=1366#p1366

wish htere were soem el-cheapo atomizers that fit the SmartFixx pens
ePuffer has penstyle atomizers for $29.00 + $7.00 shipping, so you migth want to add some cartridges (5+ $8.95 ea.) or juice (30ml $29.95 currently out of stock) to htat order to make it worht while.

I transposed all hte "t"s & "h"s so Nazareth can read it comfortably as I am referring to his post.

Will somebody please fix his keyboard?

No offense Naz, but some of your posts are really hard to read.

no offense taken- I know I'm a sloppy writer- Have you ordered from E-Puffer? Are you in the states? Reason I ask is I'm wondering what hteir customs charges might be, and if their prices are in Canadian dollrs or American?

Onother minor update- I took my old "Kaput" Mini Cigg that would still heat up, but not produce any vapor- even with a new Cartridge in it & fresh battery- Took some Carts, squeezed out hte juice, and applied smokin juice directly into the atomizer and it smokes good for around a full ciggarette or so- then it poops out and tastes terrible again- burnt- I then tried it with a new Cart, dripped the atomizer and it smoked good again for 1 cigg then pooped out again- for soem reason this mini just will not draw the liquid from a Cart, but it smokes just fine when I drip the Atomizer- Anyoen run into this kind of problem before? The cart is restign on the atomizer liek it should, but it's just not drawing hte liquid from the Cart liek it should.
