Mkay - here's a SS Choice No. 7 (which like I said, is something like a DSE103/RN4071. It uses those carts. Just haven't been able to get a definitive answer on whether the attys & batteries are compatible. Have seen both yes & no answers on here. *shrug*) Very obvious difference on these compared to most models is how the cart has those extra bits inside.
(One of the big reasons I don't like it...)
SSC7.jpg

I forgot to put a quarter or anything by it, but the dimensions are:
Battery: 7 cm length, 1 cm diameter
Atty: 2 cm length, 7mm diameter of the actual threaded part
(Guess that's where the No. 7 in the name is from. Hah).

As far as being "disposable," it doesn't look like yours is since you had it in a charger. Did it charge up and all? I just meant that the way the thing was packed up in the box looked like the disposable version of the SSC 7, so that might indicate it was a similar model.

Disposable means the battery isn't rechargable. (Also, after I ordered a spare atty, it occured to me that a single atty cost the same as two disposable kits (which would give me 2 attys, plus emergency batteries & stuff). So I called the company & asked about that. The guy said the attys are threaded differently, so you can't reuse them with the regular version. Very sneaky. Haha. That's on the SS Choice No. 7 Micro from ecigaretteschoice.com. Not sure how that would apply to other disposables, though).

Hope this helps you figure it out - RR

welp the carts a tad bit different I don't have anything to measure millimeters with but the overall size is 3.5 inches

ignore the torx bit... only thing that I could get the thing out with

DSC04129.jpg

mine charges I let it charge for two hours

I am pretty conviced it has to be a dse103 or rn4071 but I would hate to buy parts I cannot use

the thing is I can buy a joy 510 and get 2 for the price I payed

spending 20 to try out atomizers or paying 45 to get 2 joy 510's with carts, charge and batter is a win

I know I got burned badly before I even bought it but I had to quit smoking today...

guess I can always put it away for a rainy day or... sell it once they are banned for big bucks ...jk

I have a 510 coming, but my best friend is trying to quit smoking & has been kind of intrigued by the vaping. So, I'm just going to give my SSC 7 to her. If we can't find parts for it... well, she'll probably end up wanting something different anyway, but will at least give her a chance to try it out without spending money.

So, I'd say go ahead & pass it on to your brother when you get your 510. I think he'll be unlikely to want that model long-term. After a little research & experience I found it to not be great, but it was enough to get me interested & is keeping me happy til my 510 gets here. :)

(Isn't digging those little plastic thingys out of there a p.i.t.a.? I spent like 2 hours last night popping them out of old carts & cleaning them so I could use them for a couple more days. Not a very user-friendly model, imo).

If it makes any difference, our brand is proprietary
Hrm, well I'm not an expert on this stuff, but for it to actually be "proprietary" the thing would have to be built just for them & somehow different from others of similar model. I doubt it's actually "proprietary" per se, just rebranded. Same thing as a 510 being a Joye, Dura, Titan, etc. But most e-cig parts all kinda originate in the same places from what I understand. Only thing that could make it unique would be if they did what SS Choice seems to have done & used an oddly threaded atty to make it incompatible.

Sooo... I really dunno. Might be compatible with 103, might not... It's the same problem with the SSC 7. I've not been able to find any clear answer on compatability because the only way to tell is to actually try it & I guess no one has had the various stuff around to test.

Was just juice shopping & saw this picture at My Freedom Smokes. It actually looks more like the one you have. It's got the little gold band that I mentioned my SSC 7 doesn't have. M803... Couldn't find much info on it & I'm half asleep, but the picture just caught my eye. (MFS has it as coming soon, so there's not much info there other than about the PCC for it). But I've seen the name mentioned on the boards here - just couldn't find any more detailed pics. Maybe someone else will be able to tell you if it's a likely candidate.
M803?

Good luck - RR

Edit:
happy new year I am officially smoke free at of today
Congratulations! Happy non-smoky New Year!

Edit: Changed the attached photo to a link - unintentionally did had the image direct-linked, which isn't good Netiquette.

Awesome! Glad it's working better for ya. :)
Jdub, the one nice thing about a "get me by" unit, is you'll appreciate your 510 that much more when it arrives! :)
Haha, so true - I'm checking the time every 5 minutes - going to pounce on my poor mailman when he gets here. I hope my 510 will arrive today. *crosses fingers* But at least I've got something until Monday if it takes longer.

You still have snow on the ground down there? We're sub-zero at night here, NOTHING has melted from the Christmas day storm, or the follow up snow mid week here!
