You sure about that? :D

OP, that's ridiculous. I don't think you set off the fire alarm, I did a test on the building I used to live in and blew cigarette smoke directly at it at about 3 feet away ( I stood on a chair). Since I wasn't vaping at that time I was extremely paranoid about setting it off, once I saw that it didn't go off I was smoking in there like crazy, windows open and glade plug-ins everywhere lol. One time I set it off though, and it wasn't due to cigarettes, I was cleaning and sprayed air freshener in the direction of the smoke alarm (sensor) whatever the case may be. Lights and sirens, only thing missing was the techno music lol. The fire department came and ended up watching the basketball game for a few mins until their CPT told them to get up.

I'm absolutely positive that I did. Immediately after my first few hits it went off, deafening screech and strobe lights. Went on for about 10 seconds and then shut off. Its a pretty big box with anti tampering measures.

Just Curious.

Are you going to School at UCI by any chance?

Nope =]

If the Noise and Strobe Lights were anything like what I have seen inside a Classroom, it is kinda hard Not Know, isn't it?

LOL

The Reason I asked about UCI is because they were one of Only Universities to take a Moderate approach towards e-Cigarettes. But that was Short Lived. Very Short Lived.

Print a handful of copies of this
Briefing on the science and policy of e-cigarettes and vaping « The counterfactual

Next time the useful idiots harass you, hand them a copy and ask they go read it before talking with you again. Threaten you'll file harassment, bullying, and stalking charges if they ever bother you again.

But definitely I urge you to start a campus activism group and set the record straight.

If the Issue is students putting something besides Nicotine into an e-Cigarette, how does that Link and Threatening a School Official with Harassment, Bullying, and Stalking Charges effect the OP's Situation?

I'm so fed up with all the hate I see on this board directed at California and its residents. We're just like everybody else. Grow up.

Thats not entirely true you have more regulations, higher prices and crazy taxes than most of the country. Its a true shame Ca is a awesome state full of great people but its been mismanaged so poorly even the movie studios are leaving.

I argued at Shell refinery in Pasadena TX when they threw up the same accusations. I challenged them to check coffee thermoses out of the 2000 people who go threw the gates each day some were bound to be drunks who can not function with out a nip or two threw out the day. Then check people who vaped and I bet its 1 to 100 who is trying to use it for ... vers coffee with booze. It worked and they did not stop people from bringing in vaporizers in.

Buzzlove-So you tell on other people when you dont get your way. Thats kinda crappy thing to do.
No nearly as crappy as risking every ones life and well being around them because their personnel problems don't allow them to be sober for 24 hrs straight. Refinery work is very dangerous one bad decision and people can get seriously hurt or killed it happens alot so yea not only will I set those people out If someone on my crew is doing it I will run them off and not lose a moments sleep.

Yeah.... There is a BIG Difference between a Person's Actions hurting themselves Only. Verses a Person's Actions hurting those Around them.

A Very BIG Difference. At Least in My Book.

Sounds like they banned it because they think students will be umm using "other" stuff rather than vapaing e-liquids. Per the comment about them not knowing what is in there.

Best thing for OP, besides banding together w/others to get policy changed, is to pick up a nice OTC cigalike, markten or joyetech eRoll or something. Markten has 24mg.....eRoll actually hits hard, should keep the nic cravings down. I suggest a disposable as it is more than likely they won't see a big glass tube with "stuff " in there that they don't know what it is.
