And backpacks cause we don't know what's inside either. We don't want guns on campus, do we.

Walk naked, keep all personal items in transparent resealable bags.

Welcome to Education Inc.

Haha love that movie.
It's almost funnier when people "don't like it because it's just a bunch of fart jokes." :D

Intro is amazing too.

At this point you'll have to agree that there's indeed something wrong with the educational system.

I think you get out of it what you put in.

Most people who earn advanced degrees see it as an adventure.....for their curious minds. Like most investments, whether it be in yourself or in something outside of yourself, it's really very dependent on the "user".

I used to teach adults. Most of the ones who were busy blaming the system, the teacher, or life in general were they ones who either couldn't cut it, or didn't buckle down and earn their way thru the system.

If you exhale down the front of your shirt, no vapor to see. Or hold it in for 5 -7 seconds. No vapor to see.

That doesn't work if you're intent on blowing dragon clouds.

And let's face it, if he's setting of smoke detectors and having people calling about a possible car fire and a cloud of vapor boils out when he opens the window he is definitely blowing dragon clouds. Nothing attracts unwanted attention like blowing dragon clouds, and more than anything else it's the dragon clouds that ruin it for the rest of us. I don't care how hard you try, you cannot stealth vape with a fog machine.

No

It's the antis, and vapers who are willing to allow vaping to be treated like smoking, that really ruin it for the rest of us

They're the Fuds* of the vaping world

Reading this thread deeply saddens me, Im from the UK and vaping is under discussion at the moment but nothing like the my Vapeing Friends in the states are going through.

We can vape where ever we can smoke and more... We are not confined to the smoking shelter but must be outside in a lot of places BUT NOT ALL PLACES.

in regards to bars i believe it is up to the owners discretion for example, my local working mens clubs allow vaping and promote it in most places, where as the bars with restaurants and larger owned bars (wetherspoons etc) ask you to go out.

i really hope you guys in the states can get something done about the taxes and laws being introduced, because its appalling and i just hope the UK dont follow.

if anything its getting a little better over here, i saw a vapor product advertised on nation TV last night :D

I wish you all the best in your vaping journey and hope the US government see sense!!!

Lets turn the hate away from cloud chasing, the real hate should be on the fact that the has decided to not allow any e-cigs due to fear of someone using other substances in it. Clouds have nothing to do with it. A lot of people complain about how clouds make us look bad cause it looks like smoke and smokers smoke, blah blah blah. Well, the smokers here are getting to do what they want and who knows what they could be mixing in there.

Don't get annoyed at cloud chasers get annoyed at stupid policies.

I'm quite sure you would love to believe that, but it's just not true.

I vape in my office every day. My boss has never had a problem with it, but the first time I brought a subohm build in to show off to some coworkers I was immediately told to never do that inside the offices again. We have people who vape out at the smoking area every day but the one and only complaint came from a smoker who was unhappy with the massive clouds one of the vapors were blowing. We've had complaints about the bathrooms being fogged up from people blowing dragon clouds in them, but no one has ever complained when they've walked in while I was taking a normal puff.

People, non-smokers, smokers, and even many people who vape do not like this:

And NOTHING will get complaints like a massive cloud of vapor does.

If you REALLY want to keep your vaping intact, remember, it's not the person with a cigalike blowing out a tiny little wisp of vapor causing the complaints, it's the guy who thinks they should be able to fog up the entire room any place they go.

Clouds have EVERYTHING to do with it.

Do you think if he had walked into the smoking area quietly puffing on a cigalike, barely exhaling anything at all that they would have complained. Do you think he would have set off the smoke detector with a cigalike? Do you think the fire department would have been called for a possible car fire from a cigalike?

Or do you think that looking like he was taking a massive hit from a {Moderated} just MIGHT have had something to do with the reaction?

I wasn't born yesterday. A person blowing a cloud that size is only doing one of two things, and one of those things isn't legal outside of Colorado, Washington, or California. Very few people complain about things that don't affect them, but when you're blowing massive clouds outside of your own closed off little room you're affecting them.

No, it's really not. You obviously have a hate for the substance you keep referring to. Big clouds are the same stuff you're using just in larger amount, nothing else. The only effect they have is an aversion to it because they connect it to other substances and freak out like you're doing right now. The OP wasn't using a high powered device the whole time.

In my room I was using an ego threaded vv battery and clearomizer, at my desk a fair distance from the fire alarm. It must be pretty sensitive because it managed to set it off incredibly quickly. This was the same thing I was using in the smoking area.

In my car I was using an rda and regulated box, so yeah I could see it. But I mean it was dark, in a pretty much empty parking lot. It was just annoying after everything else that had happened.

Who's to say the vapor from a cigalike wouldn't build up from chain vaping in a closed car? When I used a cigalike I puffed the crap out of it, thing was useless. His issue has nothing to do with clouds, it's the school assuming that everyone with an ecig is using other substances. Cigalikes are still ecigs and could cause the same harassment.

Edit: Also, those are pictures where people obvious WANT to fog up the room. I've used my dripper and mech mod while out on the street, walking over to the store from the parking lot and no one even bats an eye, even though the thing just hangs off my neck as I walk through the store.
