No, my B tanks were all supposed to be standard resistance, but the first two I ordered must have been defective (not surprising considering the quality control on Joye tank attys has been virtually non-existant) because they were running really hot (compared to normal). I don't have a multimeter but just based on the temperature I'd say they were probably running about 1.4 ohms. They were amazing for the day-plus that they worked though. I'm going to order some 99.9% 3/8 silica rope (~2500° tolerance) and make new wicks for them to see if they work better (because I don't think the wicks they came with were pure silica, probably cheaper stuff). I probably shouldn't because if they're really that low resistance I'll probably kill the MOSFETs in my batteries. (Although they worked fine for the 3-4 days it took me to kill the wicks)

My B tank kick is over, I'm done. I was thinking about replacing the POS wick in the atty but too much trouble. The paint is peeling off all the colored atties and they are a month old and now just useless. And I was OCD about keeping them nice and clean etc. Tonight I'm trying out the new version 2 CE2 Giantomizer and despite the failure of V1, this new version is doing it. Nice vapor, flavor and TH. not too much, just right for me. I'm also loving the semi-hard tip and the storage cap. This number might be my sweet spot, just hope they hold out and clean up well. Not imressed with the CE2 XL metal cartos, still waiting to try the Smoktech dualies XL, should be here tomorrow. But thumbs up so far for this V2 Giant.

At the moment I'm done with tanks too. That's why I ordered these DCs actually, hoping they'd be a suitable replacement, and so far they're definitely doing the trick. I've looked at the mega tanks like the CE2 and MAP. I like the idea but they're not really fit for my all-day carry-around vape. I'd definitely consider them at some point for a good vape at home though. Good to know the CE2 v2 is doing well so far. I've heard good things about the MAP tank, too.

Hey everbody the NoEgo is the bomb great add on for my provari's takes the same batteries and works great with dc cartos!!!!

This is definitely on my near-future want list. It's a fatty, but still sleek enough to carry around with me. Got it bookmarked, may pick this up in a few weeks. (Gotta get more cartos and juice with my next paycheque though. NoEgo + 18650s after that.)

Save your money! The name should be dual leakomizer because it leaks out the bottom faster than I can fill it from the top! Stay away from the clear ones, it seems like it would work if it didn't all leak out so fast. Maybe worth another try but I'm not trying any more clear gimmicks for a while. This is just the latest greatest product and everyone will say how wonderful it is, in two months the next exciting new product will be out and everyone will say how great that one is. There seems to be a predictable pattern with this stuff.

Keep the bottom condom on while you are filling. Let the filler absorb the liquid.

I have gone through 20 or 30 of these dual coils from 3 different vendors and none of mine leak. Sounds like your either dripping liquid right into the middle hole or you are over filling.

I think catdaddy is referring to the clear ones.
Any unit with plastic sides (like the older CE2's) tend to crack and the fluids tend to effect the plastics.
They are just too fragile for prime time (in my opinion).

I watched a guy bragging up a CE2 as if fell apart in his hands and leaked all over his shirt. It was quite laughable. He was not amused ....I didn't care for the guy anyways, so it made it even more comical. (Ok, I was rude...HA!)

Likewise, no leaking on the black metal dualies (1.5ohm), except when I overfilled one with 80 drops of fluid. I should have stopped at 70-75 drops and got bold, so I ended up blowing out the excess into a paper towel.

Could be that he refers to the clear DC.

I had no leaking problems with them, but this is so, because I had before some CE2, and man they where fragile, so I learnd to be very carefully with any clear cartos.

But then the clear DC are much stronger then the CE2 I had.

The only leaking I've experienced is either from overfilling or getting a drop or two down the center channel where the coil is -- which has a clear path to the other side. But it's only ever a drop or two. Once I dab it with some paper towel it's fine, no leaks, especially after the first puff or two vaporizes whatever's left down the center. I'd have to agree that if it's leaking that badly it must be either a dud or you're pouring down the center. I drip down the sides with the carto at an angle, like I'm pouring a beer into a mug, except I rotate as I drip to get even coverage.

Big secret I've found for longevity on the dual metal ones is to keep em tapped up with juice.
When I'm down 10 -15 drops i fill em.
Remember the top coil is only 1/3 down from the cap. ya don't want to run the top coil dry.
A lighter colored juice also seems to keep em longer.

Yeah, I've become kind of obsessive about keeping mine topped up. I'll top up every couple of hours or so with about 6-8 drops, both to keep the coils good and wet, and because I find it starts losing a bit of steam (literally) when it gets a little light on the juice. Also, unlike conventional carts (and to a lesser degree, tanks) standing the PV upright tends to be counterproductive since the coils are parallel to the chamber, so keeping it on its side when at rest will at worst let the liquid pool on one side -- which is still fine as it'll still get to the coils easier than if it gravitates to the bottom of the filler.

I've also found that the center core that holds the coils may not be dead center, instead off to the side a bit. When I fill I'll just drip more to the side with more filler just to keep the juice distribution even.

Lighter coloured juices probably work better on any atomizer, as it's likely the darker colouring (especially if it's coloured with caramel) that caramelizes on the atomizer, making it less efficient as it goes. A soak in PGA or isopropyl alcohol followed by a rinse (or inject some PGA/Iso down the center with a blunt syringe) should help clean that up and rinse out the gunk. I haven't tried a dry burn with these -- is it advisable given the design?

From what I've read, the dry burn is counterproductive, Minefield. They are not atomizers, just a coil.
I can't say from personal experience.

Biggest issue with burn for me is I dislodged one of the socks on the coil (it appears to be a fiberglass sock).
Once I did that, the coil heated the batting or diaper and scorched it. My fault. I shove a paper clip through on occasion to keep the center core hole open of fluid.
Right, that many times the core isn't centered, and I've even had 2 carto's where there was no visible opening through the cart at all . Bad Q.C. and the cartos were no good since the draw was tight. I couldn't clear em.

From what I can see they're pretty much the same, just a different design; the coil is vertical instead of horizontal, and the coils are covered with socks because the wick is a sheet rather than a length of silica rope. Functionally they're the same though, but practically it seems like a dry burn could burn the socks and/or wicking sheet.

Joogler Juice is having a 10% off sale through Sunday (shows up in cart). That makes mega dual coil cartos $8.10 per 5 pack. Plus you still get a free 5ml of juice with each box. Shipping is $2.

Only black ones left in stock. Guess I might as well stock up before they are gone too.

Damn, that's a great deal. Pity my payday isn't 'til next week. :) Still, at $9/pack and 5ml of juice that's worth checking out even after the sale. Provided he ships to Canada, anyway.

Well i have only tried a few and I am still vaping on one and its been a month, the flavor and vapor is still the same as when I got it, haven't cleaned it as well. I don't know from anyone's else experience but these may end up replacing attys for me, i may buy one or two here and there but these are far more cost effective, easier to maintain, and just the performance has been outstanding for me.

I don't get quite that life out of them, about a week for me @6ml a day. 3 days or so into the week, I have to crank the volts up a tad on them. I never clean them.

Good to hear another person having a great experience with these !
