At MyVaporStore they have the 2.5 Ohm as an option when you buy. It's not the ml size.

Yes, you are right, very sorry, didn´t see them before.

They are metal, anybody knows where to get 2.0 Ohm clear dualys with 2.5 or 3.5 ml. They are just what I am looking for to vape on a 5V mod.

Haven't seen one as yet. I have a 5V mod that could use something like that. Let us know if you find one. I've been using the Boge 2.0 cartos with a drip tip since I don't think they make an XL version. Getting tired of filling these puppies although they vape great. On an aside I have a 5 pack of the X2 LR 1.5ohm Dual Coil XL 510 Cartomizers, Cisco. They work great with some juices but I think I was under filling them. Anyone tried both brands and found one better than the other?

Clouds of Vapor has the 3.5ml Clear Dual Coils in stock. Plenty big enough and no cutting up cartos for a tank system required 8)

Yes I know, but am looking for a clear 2.0 Ohm 2.5 or 3.5 ml. and can´t find any. They probably dont exist yet. Here in Europe they only have the 1.25 and 1.5 Ohm dualys, because higher volt vaping is just beginning here.

Joan, 3.7 is the conventional nickname for PV's that are not HV (high voltage) referring to yes, 3.7volts of power to the atty... which is a misnomer because true voltage 3.7 only happens on HV's (i.e the Provari starts at 3.3 true, and goes up to 6v)
What we call 3.7's never even reach that voltage... I don't know why they did that... a good question for a thread.

Thanks for explaining, I get it now. I ordered some CE2 XLs Metal but I'm not exactly enjoying these. I keep getting a funny taste although they are ceramic and have no filller, don't know where that taste is comming from. About the ego, they do measure out at 3.4V according to my Fluke, wonder why they advertise them as 3.7V? Gonna try some of the Smokteks next. Thanks again.

the 510's dual 1.5 metal casing Smok Tech, actually run good at 3.4-3.7v.
Some push em to 4v and over, but it seems (from my reading) that pushing em over 4v results in many either burning juice or the coil sock, and the the batting after that.. Design voltage seems to be for a standard 510 rated voltage.

I run em on standard 510 batteries ( I know already,,,not advisable) and they vape marvelously. I've had very little damage from heat, and the last one had ~13.5ml of fluid run through it. I destroyed a sock on the lower coil with a paperclip and dislodged it, otherwise i would still be using it. It caused the lower batting to be singed, and also plugged up the center hole to where the draw became too tight.
Never tasted a burn.

Porked off

As far as I know, only smoktech is making all the dual coils atm. Web suppliers will try rebranding them, to try to tell you there is something special about what they are selling at a higher price then other sites. Don't fall for the hype unless you just like spending the extra money.

Boges are single coils, and behave completely different then the duals. All cartos are VERY sensitive too that first initial fill. They must be full before you pull that trigger the first time.

I've run them at 7.4 volts with no burnt juice on a 1.5 ohm. Very hot vapor, but no burnt tire failomizer taste. 5 volts is heaven on 1.5s and 6v is a tad overkill. The only ones I have burnt were under filled on initial firing.

ukeman.
At full charge, many will hit that voltage and more in the 510 battery series. I get some up to 4.2v on charge and then they drop off fast and level off at a common voltage.

The small batterys, even running at 4 volts, can´t deliver the amps a 1.5 Ohm device is demanding, so the power drops down. It will be much more like vaping at 3.0 volts at a good performing VV mod.

i know we've gone round and round about this, but it's obvious what earthpig is doing... he doesn't care about the batts since that are dispensible.

anyway i learned; 1. they put demands on the battery above what some VVs recommend 2. they may diminish the PV circuitry in VV's too.

so... i'm looking for the elusive 2.5 Ohm dc's...

and still ... stownz et al, please list the PV's that will get the best out of the 1.5's at higher than the 3.4 v max that a 3.7 will put out...if you will thanks.

Sparkplug @6v
LiL Sis @0-7v ---- linear regulator VV with no amp cutoff
AJ dual @5v-- twin dual coils running at 5v !!!

This is the list of all that I own that I have tested at higher volts on the 1.5s. Provari won't crank them up that high, neither would the darwin. LiL sis is the only VV that will crank them too the moon.

What you said about the little sister is interesting. I bought one not too long ago with the varicool feature and never thought it performed that well. I recently tried it with a couple DC's and it didn't do anything. Even with the volts cranked all the way up. I just thought I was a unit that didn't like the DC's. I think I need to contact Ken about this.
