50 drops may not be enough and may run the top coil dry. I've gotten 80 drops but that was too much 70-75 seems right. They (the coils) are placed at the 1/3 points in the carto.
That said, I've yet to hear (read) of one burning though.
Somewhere between 70 & 75 seem to be the magic number.
Drops. Now theres a accurate measurement if I ever seen one.
I just cannot get them to fire off on a 808 battery(w/adapter), which I was hoping for.Pork
Was about to order some of these bad boys when I came across this post. My intention was to use them on a 380mah kr808 batt with a 808-510 adaptor. You're saying it won't work?

Capacity-- "Drops" isn't a good standard of measurement. And some of these have a little more filler than others. I filled one this morning that had filler to within 1 mm of the top. Most of them have had filler that stops about 2 or so mm from the top. Even though a little more filler means a few extra drops of liquid, I'd rather they were all the same and all had room to put the ring back in them and a drip tip on them. These things can pop and spit a little (and even more at 6.0v). The ring decreases the chances of getting a hot drop of juice shooting as far as my lip or tongue.
Anyway, I'm generally getting a little over 2ml in to them. I carry a few 3 ml bottles in my kit. A fresh fill leaves a little less than a ml in the bottle for a quick top off later.

I'm saying I can't get it to work. I have a feeling the 808 batteries have a protect circuit that doesn't allow em to fire.
The light lights, but no vapor. I don't quite get why.
IF SOMEONE KNOWS, now you would be helping 2 of us!
Now, they do make a 510, 380mah battery I haven't tried that should work since my 510, 150mah batteries work fine.
I'm considering ordering them for added longevity in use.
I was hoping to use the 808 battery for it's added 1/2v of power over the 510's. So far, no go.
