Ah, but it's working on a 510, 150mah battery.
Are you saying this is specific to a 808 battery?

Pokegizmo
You have an 808 batt pushing a 510 dualie with an adapter?
Fill us in....in detail.

Stosh.
So what do I lose by shortening the life of a 150mah battery? They work and i double checked what i paid...$8.99.
No loss, or quite minimal. .....
you obviously will do what you please and that is fine but Stosh is pointing out potential dangers and I personally think that is a good thing. It is totally fine that you use these on a standard 510 but suggesting that others should follow suite is irresponsible. I am not saying that you are telling people to do it but people do see these posts and think its ok and it is not. As far as the replacement house being an exaggeration, you are wrong. While it may be unlikely, it is still a possibility that a battery can start a fire in a house while on a charger.Stosh
They never get warm (first indicator in a battery). On the house thing, that's an exaggeration, and they are not stressed under a charger. We're also talking a few seconds puff (4 to 5 max) at any one time.
Yes these have an overcharge protect circuit that can go up on ANY e-cig battery if it fails. That's why during charge, when done charging it goes into protect.
And that is obviously totally fine that you continue to do so, I just do not see how you can be so confident, when these have not been out for all that long. Like I said last time, the only problem I have is you making it seem ok to everyone when we have obviously not been using these for long enough to know exactly how they will react with all the different brands of standard ecig batts. I think that it is more safe to error on the side of caution and maybe after 6 months you and other people would have a better idea of everything that will and can happen when using these with standard 510 batts. Do you know what I am saying?Ok, Did so. And thanks for the lead to chase.^
No mention of e-cig batteries, yet I see the laptop batteries which are multi cell, and over pushed past their own protect circuits ability. Yes these (e-cig 510 batteries) have an overcharge protect circuit that can go up on ANY e-cig battery if it fails. That's why during charge, when done charging it goes into protect.
I again note that if you overheat a battery it can go up, but if it is physically cool, there is no concern I have seen so far.
I also have said i the past, that the only thing that can obviously go wrong is shortened battery life from continued battery charge and discharge, since usage time is greatly reduced.
So until I see obvious proof of a danger (and I am open to any info) I continue enjoying dual coil cartos in a cig sized battery. The ONLY prove disadvantage I've witnessed so far is reduced usage time, and a need for recharge on a more regular basis compared to normal. I will buy that over the life of the battery, lifetime will be reduced, but even that hasn't been proven out yet.
