Well in my never ending journey to find the perfect vape, i think i found an even better wick coil setup than i had up above.

I took two thin cheesecloth wicks, threaded them through the coil, fed the tails of one wick through the feed holes, and snipped the tails of the other wick right next to the coil. Going on 4 days with this setup, no over wicking, no dry hits and no liquid darkening! We'll see how it works after a wick replacement in about a week

I dunno why but i continually have issues with the stock wicks on anything fraying and breaking on me. Call me ocd but when I first get a new anything, I first look at the coil and try to make it even, this invariably leads to parts of the wick sliding off or simply fraying so bad its unusable...

So i did what i think is my only permanent mod on this thing, I used a needle point tweezers and reamed out a hole the gauge of a paper clip right next to the coil in the upper half of the SRT. I used a carto condom, the little piece inside that goes up into the carto to plug the air hole under the coil.

Along with the 2 wick, one trimmed right next to the coil, setup and this I'm getting a LOT of vapor out of this, I mean so much that when I exhale I have to wait for it to clear before I can see my computer screen...! I do still have to tilt it though

Somebody gave me one of these, and I had no clue how to recoil it, so I was ecstatic that gotvapes had the pre wound coils! I put one in and was immediately in love. I love the airy draw to it, and the flavor that comes through is great. As long as gotvapes continues to sell the coils I will continue to use this tank. It's great...:2cool:

We are still actively waiting on these. By actively, I mean checking in with them constantly. They were having some issues with the new design and wanted and are testing, to make sure its right before releasing...

when will these be back in stock? I'm waiting to order my first one!

Well I am now using peaches and Cream cotton yarn as a wick, 2 threads per wick hole and the other two cut just next to the coil.

I also made my air hole next to the coil much bigger. To off set the increased airflow, I took an old phoenix clearo tube cut off about 2cm and stuck that smaller tube into the top plug of a dcc tank, the bottom of the tube is extending about .5 cm below the bottom of the plug.

I then put a carto plug into the bottom and a normal drip tip into the top. I think, if I understand the theory correctly, I have made a venturi tube from the top chamber to my mouth, where the top chamber has the weaker air pressure the carto plug acts as the pressurizing narrow tube and the clearo tube acts as the higher pressure chamber. Regardless If I have this correct or not I have a ton of vapor coming out of this thing and somehow better flavor, go figure. Pics above.

BTW Im using BWB Malty which is 70 vg 30 pg and no wicking issues as long as I tilt it.
