This is getting ridiculous...

My replacement vmax just got fried after beeing used just a couple of days. (second time in 2 weeks. 4th dead SS vmax in total)

Im damn close to cancel my Zmax order...

My Vmax will still fire if I hold the fire button while I screw the mizers on. If I put a mizer on, and then hit the fire button, i'll get an F1 error every damn time...

The tubes smells burned all over again...

I only used a carto tank on there, so there's no way I screwed in on too tight.

This is ....ing ridiculous :(
Random...WOOSAW...You won't have that problem with ZMAX...TRUST ME! :)

I really hope you're right...

It's getting beyond frustrating having to send my vmax back to the vendor every 2-3 weeks :)

You might want to try a different vendor if you're getting that many bad units, I haven't had any problems with mine. I have 3 Vmax's and they all work flawlessly.

I got the 800mah batteries with my Vmax and I can not say I'm satisfied with them they don't hold charge even 8hr not sure how long they should last but have seen better batteries for sure might try another brand and see if that helps I wanting a battery set up that will last 8+ hours Does anyone know what brand would be the Best ???????????????????????

THANK YOU FOR THE HELP / INFO

probably not the ideal place to ask this, but im at a loss as to where to ask... 1st of all, i just got a vivi nova and im having issues with my vmax ( at 3.7 on a 2.8ohm head- i get flavor and vapor, but not much TH ) ? much higher than that i get a burnt taste....

but more importantly, i just got my mom vaping ( almost 2 weeks now and she has severly cut down on analogs ) she has an ego, and started on stardust tanks, i just had her order a vivi nova, and she likes it, but she's asking if she can get a flat ( black and mild style tip ) drip tip for her nova ( like what comes on some stardust's ) i've looked and looked and cant find any that match, all i've found were a wider-flat style, she wants the skinny-flat...any links?

i'm just trying to do whatever to keep her beginning to vaping as enjoyable and as easy as it can be

Thank-you in advance
TH is about 85% nic level and 15% PG level of the juice.

TH is about 85% nic level and 15% PG level of the juice.

Please don't take this negatively, but I'm obviously an "experienced" vaper and can tell when there's a huge difference in TH from say , my 801 fusions ( 2.8 ohm@ 4.1V on the max ) and my vivi nova ( 2.8 ohm head @ 3.7V-like I said, much higher than that I get a burnt taste ) especially when I'm using the same juice at the same nic level (18mg) and the same ratio (60/40)

Well, I got my first Max yesterday. Loving it so far. Course, my 1.7ohm Resurrectors are useless on it as it will fry one on 3.0V when I was using them at 4.0v on my Vari-Tube, lol

I've got some Black Metal Vivi Nova tanks on the way for it, the purple isn't staying on there, lol

Great pics DK! Congrats on your V. I still have and love my black one. Yes, some 1.7's will run hot on the V unless dual coil. Sticking with 2.5-3ohm stuff really helps and allowsyour vmax to shine.

The Boge LR's and SR's are rocking on it, as well as the VN tank. I'm for sure loving it!!!

I got a quirk to report, on my ver1 Vmax with shorty 510 adapter fitted I was getting a situation where when I pushed the fire button nothing would happen just as if it had no batteries. I would fiddle around with it, re install the batteries and all was well again, well I got it figured out, the carto was shorting on the 510 shorty , no F1, no f2, no light and no damage. I thought that the actual switch was going bad but not the case. that's all

Thanks for this report dw, the insight might indeed help those experiencing similar symptoms.

Thanks for the great thread guys, I have read the whole thing over a few weeks......lol. This thread helped me decide on the Vmax for replacement to my first vv that bit the dust (plastic box mod). I love it. :)

I have had my Vmax for about a month now and have had no issues until lately. :( It seems as though my center post in the 510 connection is too low. I would get the F1 or F2 error with my mini vivi nova and would have to back it out a couple of threads to get it to work. I am having the same issue with some other cartos as well. When I back it out the vivi nova feels loose and sloppy in the threads. So, using the search in this forum and the advice from this thread, I was able to raise my center post. But, the center post seems looses and works its way down while I am vaping. I have never over tightened anything on the device as I was aware of the danger from reading this thread.

Is there any way to fix the center post so it does not move up and down so easily? I have submitted a trouble ticket with the vendor and am waiting to see what they suggest. Oh, I have the stainless steel Vmax with the blue button, red led, and the ego style top.

Is there a reason that the center post is free floating, it seems as though it would work better if it was a solid connection?

Sorry to hear about the issues with your new "V". I have the (v1) VMAX, and it's been rocking flawless for months now.

But fyi, my center post is rock solid and definitely not "free floating". I have not had the need to pop the cap on mine, but others here have, and may give you the breakdown on construction and assembly schematics.

I believe you did the right thing with a trouble ticket submittal to the vendor. Sounds like a new one is in your future. Just my :2c:

I've only had my chrome vmax for a week but so far love it. I ordered a set of eFest flat top batteries for it and the vender said that they wouldn't work, that it needed the button tops. Well much to my surprise the flat tops came in and I've been using them for 2 days now. Also got a set of AW 18350's coming to. I'm starting to get parinoid from all the bad things I've heard about the vmax. Guess time will tell.

Hi guys!

Read every single post in this thread (took me two weeks) and had to gain enough posts just to be able to post here. Got lots of useful information.

Got an SS iTube aka VMax V3 with 2 pairs of efest 800 mah batts, 2 Vivi Novas and a Phoenix rebuildable atomizer V3. Been vaping for more than a year but the VMax is the only one that totally weaned me from cigarettes. Been analog free for two weeks now.

I'm just curious why a post a while back suggested to stay clear from the iTube?
