what gauge wire do you have? Anything besides 36 gauge tends to be too big to snap the caps on.

Recieved my new z max in the vape mail today and have to say more than I expected

The build seems very well done. Got a few hours use but the batts are charging up.

So now I've joined the club

Note that the Ego collar is in the Zmax drip well otherwise there is a small gap (on just for photo shoot) It certainly looks tightView attachment 144679

I decided to hold off on re coiling, reason: it is working amazingly well so I may just wait awhile.
And that positive post is really fragile looking, almost scary

just be carefull if you recoil peple where messing up the poss post putting to much pressure on it .but back on topic it looks sweet on the z and use it almost everyday.

I do have some 36 and may end up using it with 2mm wick as that is a pretty small place in which to put a "proper" coil.

I ended up putting a 34g coil on 2mm slica @ 2.4 ohms, it very well might be my best performing device.

Just seen these on Alibaba - Chinese copies of Chinese mods

They have the 8th menu and oled screens -there are two different companies manufacturing them.

There's a weird Lava/Zmax hybrid called a "Vamo" which is also vari watt.

It's like they've smelled blood.

Thanks, I wanted something in SS and this is a beauty!! will try to post a pick today. Vaping at 6 to 6.5 watts DCT Tank or 2.5 dual coil carto have not gotten a burnt hit yet. I will retire my Lambo 4.0.

It wasn't advertised as a version 2 but I purchased from My Vapor Store and I know this was not heir first batch of inventory as they sold out quick on the first stock. Very nice deviice puts my L Rider Lambo to shame.

Let the bashing begin!!!!! Wouldn't it be really funny if they perform to spec? I would tend to doubt it as nothing from China performs as advertised, but if it did it could get real ugly around here!!!!!

Is it just me or does the "Vamo" look like its eyeballing me????????

natgas has always been polite with nice posts and he had a legitimate issue with his Zmax.
There have been a couple of other folks who have had their Zmax's firing on their own so it's not beyond the realms of possibility that this is what happened to natgas too.

Sure - it may have. It may not have too - that's all I was saying.

If there is the slightest possibility that natgas's Zmax did fire on it's own then there's nothing irresponsible about his posts - they could save someone from sustaining an injury.

I wasn't talking to natgas with that comment - I was talking to retird. I even quoted retird's post to make that clear. So this is a bit off here. All I am saying to natgas is if we don't know then dont say like it was definite - because it may also have shorted.
