I just got off a very, very long phone survey....the only reason that it's interesting at all is that, in the incredibly wide rage of topics (bargain hunting, TV watching, perception of the economy etc), it did include questions about tobacco and e-cig use. At least 10 min of questions related to which type (disposable, cartridge, or refillable) and which companies i'd heard of/purchased from. Most, if not all, were cig-a-like companies. njoy, Blu, cig2o, smoking everywhere and intellicig were included. joyetech, innokin etc were not. What size of refillable liquid, how often, and how many bottles i purchased were questions.

Wow. Interesting. But marketing, so the Gov't will not learn anything. The ones that have the $$$$ for that stuff are BT or big e-cig companies. And they are pushing the cig-a-likes. So that's my guess. They want to understand market coverage and need by random sample analysis.

That was my thinking too Atty. The variety of topics makes me think it was sponsored either by a large firm, or a group of firms got together. it was LONG. I did want them to know (once asked) that yes, I'm aware of the cig-a-like companies, but no, i don't buy anything from them, and my purchases aren't influenced by e-cig advertising. I was a little surprised that they had so many questions about e-cig products.

i am taking a vacay day tomorrow...but will be up close to the usual time. Would have been asleep awhile ago, but the phone dude didn't mention that it was gonna be a 6 hour survey.

It seems kind of expensive, and 4gig of memory really isn't enough these days. The Lenovo that Tibs linked yesterday was a better value. Maybe you can find specs like that one, but with win7.

Looks good CES.

Hard to say anything specific since IDK what you use it for (intended purpose?).
The i5 is a solid processor (I use that one).
The 4MB ram is probably sufficient (I use 4mb too...even for games n stuff). 8 is always better, but meh unless you find you need it now.
The integrated graphics is OK, not great, but OK. You can always add a graphics card later.

So: RAM...OK, upgradable. Graphics...OK, upgradable. HD...500 MB, probably OK too, unless you have a lot of video you're storing.

Consider: UPS power/surge/conditioner.
External Backup drive or maybe a 2nd 500MB internal drive for backups.

Sorry, but you won't get latest security fixes unless it's win 8. So go win 8.
Win 8 is more solid under the hood anyway.
