you don't foresee having to order anything in the future?
Of course I do, Tibs. Guess I'll have to bite the bullet and order FedEx.
The thing is, cigs have been illegal to order
through the mail without signatures for a long time. IDK why nic-
juice should be different.
The kiddies these days are so damn internet savvy that they outrank the parents.
I do NOT want to shutdown all the vendors. Nor do I want kids ordering nic over the net. Catch-22. So we will have to take the hit and use FedEx or something that requires a signature.
The stuff about "illegal sales" is moot...we're talking about legal mechanisms. Illegal sales are always a problem.
What we REALLY need is a better mechanism for age verification on all sales. Cigs, alcohol, MJ, whatever. I don't care. This is a huge hole in the Wild West of mail-order business. And the problem is only going to get worse. So until we get a better mechanism, I guess we take the hit out of responsibility. Because it's impossible for a parent to stop kids from ordering online. Literally impossible. No matter how "good" your kid is, or how "good" of a parent you are.
I suppose you can make the argument that "they'll get it anyway, somehow, so why restrict my rights?" But that's just you/me/us abdicating our responsibility to put a better mechanism in place. And THAT should be our focus.
And the more products that need this expensive shipping and signature, the more incentive there is to get a mechanism in place and fix it for real. Until then, bite the bullet.
