"Chewy" is pretty amazing. Placed an order yesterday at 2:33pm. (41.7 POUNDS of
stuff, per UPS.) Shipped from Wikes-Barre to here and arrived at 10:47am.
Free shipping.
But you know what?... I'd be willing to wait an extra day or two (or three) if they
split things into smaller (lighter) packages. That 41.7 pounds was in 1 box.
I have a recurring shipment sent to a woman that feeds feral cats ...
"I start my day at 3:30am every day, 365 days a year, feeding 100+ cats at over 19+
locations in the Beechwood section of the City of Rochester. In addition to this I hold
down a full time job. I spend over $250 a week in food and every week in the Spring
and Summer months I trap 2 cats to get them neutered/spayed and vaccinated at a
cost of another $160. I have done this on my own dime to the tune of $12,000 a year."
Total weight: 94.9 pounds, in 2 boxes.
It's a common comment/complaint re: Chewy on review sites... heavy packages.
But, what can we expect if we order canned pet food, right? :: shrug ::
