Snuff - Is there anything *not* to try?

Packard's Club Snuff is the only one I've tried so far. Mentholated goodness, but almost too strong at times, reminding me of Vicks vapo-rub. I usually take about a 3rd of a pinch. My sinuses don't cooperate with snuff well enough to try a bullet or anything.

So, I've got a shop nearby that I hope to stop at tomorrow and see what they've got on hand.

Anything I should absolutely stay away from?

I'm not sure what they're selection is, I think there was maybe only half a dozen brands/flavors to try. I know they have the Packards, and I think I've maybe seen WoS and Garrett (tall cylinder instead of flat disc?)?

The W. E. garret sweet is pretty good and seems fairly strong in nic content. I haven't tried any of the packards but maybe the Wiz could comment on those. As far as the WoS snuffs, I have tried about six or eight different ones and haven't tried one that I don't like. I don't do well with the really strong menthols either. What kind of scents are you looking for? If they have the swisher honey bee then I would definitely get that.

president is anise and menthol
WoS honey menthol is nice
Hedges l260
WoS menthol plus is fricking brutal
I have a few other menthols I use also.

For the stay aways I find anything in a cardboard tube tends to pick up the cardboard.

Shane - I'm still a relative noob to snuff, but I haven't met a WoS blend that disagreed with me yet. I'm not a huge menthol fan, but the Ozona Orange isn't bad and others have reported that raspberry is the best of the bunch from Ozona. Lately I've been ringing myself leaning towards "sweet" scents and have been using Honey Bee and Toque Whisky & Honey quite a lot.

Two I was forgetting and both happen to be in my rotation is McCrystals apricot and O&G.

Stay away from NTSU (unless you like horse poop up your nose), Taxi , and Hedges (Hedges is a powerful Menthol). I doubt the local shop even stocks these.
American Scotches tend to be pretty powerful also. Rooster and Three Thistles Strong are a couple off the top of my head.

Hedges is my staple menthol snuff.....i need to get at least 2 more tins of that snuff.

the worst smelling snuff i tried so far is the Dholakia Black.....i had to flush my nostrils after 5 minutes the smell was soo bad

I got 1 more snus order which is going to be a 10 can of oden 2 more thunder frosted los and calling it good.

For snuff McC apricot and O&G and hoppen, then another hedges and wos menthol plus and I am good.

Well, they had a couple of W. E. Garret's in stock, but I shyed away due to the cardboard tubes.

I did pick up I some Ozona Rasberry and Gawith Apricot. All made by Poschl Tabak (same as my previous Packards Club).

Decent stuff. I kinda dig it. Like it more than dib/snus/chew/etc. Just wish the sensations lasted longer.

Sorry Wiz, I guess I should clarify that in no way is Hedges in the same category as NTSU or Taxi. But it is a strong menthol and I do not think I would have liked it much when I first started snuffing. I do have a tin of it and enjoy it from time to time.

Dholakia Black smells like a rose compared to NTSU. Taxi smells about the same as Dholakia Black.
