Exactly,
You'll still get the MAOI's from the 8mg snus, just none added from the flavorless liquid since its refined nic.
There is some question as to if the added juice they use adds more MAOI or not.
I do well on 8mg portions all through the day. I just use the sterk in the morning or high stress times and do fine.
The 16-17mg TF has added "tobacco" juice. Its pretty vague on description.
DVap had tested soaked tobacco and little nic came out per ml needed to get it.
MAOI's.......it may be loaded with them.
No one really has tested it. AFAIK

I see Northerner now has SnusX Bucket Loose version,
slightly cheaper per bucket than the portions version

But "The water is already added, so if you don't want to add flavour, its ready to use",
900g in weight !, compared to the portions being dry (bucket is 240g)
so could actually be more expensive per amount of tobacco if postage cost is an issue.

Almost tempted, seeing it got 4 out of 5 stars in review
(c.f. portions 3.5 stars), so someone thinks they're better,
but ordered a bucket of portions instead +
coffee, cherry & spearmint bottles of flavour.

Hopefully falling back on the wagon again thank goodness
- too much waking up in the night choking after having slipped back to cigarettes.

Gonna see how these stack up for me this time round:
Wine&Dine 'purified' 6mg,
TF mini portions,
Lab02 13mg,
and the bucket portions (8mg-ish) with the different flavours.

How much extra do you now have to pay in the States now PACT act has hit ?

Also almost got one of the Northerner tee-shirts with
"Snus and Booze makes happy Dudes'
gotta be worth it for the corn value alone!

edit: not going for the bucket after all, rather have another 10 packs of TF minis.

Testing the new delivery country 'we have to remove these items from you order' feature,
it seems that Wine&Dine can't be delivered to anywhere in the US (?)

I dont understand the los having water added already. Better for all around to make it like the dry portions. Cheaper and easier to store too.

Yes, each product will have to be registered with the FDA for sale or its not coming in the country. The ones flagged for US warehouse must already be registered. The buckets werent USA flagged the other day. So, it appears V2 hasn't registered them here. I doubt they will ship from Sweden if that's the case. Wine & Dine must not be either.
Everything right now hinges on if it can be delivered on or by June 30th. Sales before then aren't carrying the extra tax, but may need UPS shipping for delivery.
USPS cannot be carrying tobacco after June 30th.

Anything sold on or after July 1 will have the local state tax(if you live in that state), the tax of the state where its being shipped to and the shipping included at the time of purchase. Along with the fee for the sig. It will have to be signed for by someone 18 or older. AFAIK , UPS is the only one set to do that. Not gonna be cheap by any means. Some states have higher tax rates than others. So, taxes have to be paid by the seller to each state. Gonna be a lot of small places close, which is what they want. I'd expect higher product prices too with all the extra paperwork needed.

Exactly, whatever state you live in the supplier has to charge you the tax for your state at the time of purchase, then pay it to your state. If they had to do it quarterly, that could be 50 diff payments 4x a yr to each state. Thats a lot of paperwork for a small supplier. Some may stay in business and just ship to their own state. That wouldn't change their tax filings. But it's also a lot less business. So, less profit, less stock.....

The last time I checked UPS was the only shipping option Northener had exo.
They started that abt 3-4 weeks pre PACT. FedX is not an option. I read somewhere that that is FedX's own choice not to carry tobacco products. Like PayPal and ecig stuff.

I looked at their site and there are some Swedish snus listed with USA flags. So, those are registered and are available to us. They may have been registered for a long time.
Now that PACT is coming into effect, if not registered, Northener won't be allowed to stock it.
If I remember correctly, Toque will not be shipping free to the USA anymore either. They designated Northener as their official USA distributor. Royal mail was handed to USPS and now the law says USPS will not carry tobacco.

Going to be interesting.

V, You are right about it getting interesting. Or at least it's gonna be a PITA anyway. I quick got an order in with toque last week and there was no mention of additional shipping yet.I honestly doubt that it will be delivered before the 1st so I wonder if it will still come by usps.

The only way I will order now is in bulk to offset the shipping charge. I ran a test order a few days ago at snus central and they wanted $26 to ship one roll. When I emailed them to ask if it was a mistake they just said that the appropriate shipping charge would be shown at checkout. Duh! So I take it that the shipping was correct. They can bite me. I'm not paying that much for shipping.

What are they basing that cost on, shipping direct from Sweden ?

Wonder if it's possible to set up a (tax paid) 'gift' system between
interested friends on opposite sides of the Pond.

e.g. UK buyer pays for goods & sends to US friend, who must declare for
tax purposes & pay the appropriate state tax.

Can't see transport costs $26 to send one roll, does it ?

(btw email notification of posts in threads is becoming dire on this forum,
why is the situation being allowed to continue like this ?)

Also btw really enjoying my recent double-roll purchase of TF minis & Wine&Dine
    (sorry)

TB said Wine & Dine hit the nic, but has no flavor. Meant to be that way for meal time.
I got 2 Snus buckets today UPS I swear I didnt order. Either that or its my last 2 I ordered and they are late coming.
I've been WAY to busy. Time for a bucket "search & count"!

I do not understand their shipping charges for 1 roll. It didnt get any heavier and there isnt that much diff from "before and after". UPS is higher, but come on!
I'd say thats part of the extra paperwork tax filing charges being sluffed off so the sale pricing still looks good.

I definitely agree V. Their might be some extra for having to get an id and signature but I have seen 26 and 33 for shipping from sweden. I never did order a bucket. I'm not really into diy so would have most likely ended up using them with no flavoring. I wasn't sure if I would like them like that so didn't order.

Well, 1 roll from Sweden used to be abt $11 I think. UPS is higher than Royal Mail & USPS and there is a charge for sig. Stubby I think posted it and it was $1 or so, no more than $3 pretty sure.

All you can say now is welcome to the PACTCRAP world the way it is.
Many thought we were crazy for so much pre PACTCRAP stocking, but we've saved a ton of money doing so.

These higher prices were expected so I cant say I'm surprised. With all the extra paperwork for taxing and who knows what PACT really required, they are gonna have more time in selling, shipping and they have to keep profits at a worth while level. I think they are still showing good sellable pricing but there is a lot of unspecified charges, now needed, that are just gonna be there showing as something. If they spilt those new "administrative charges" on the sale page, it would be way higher than most places and then no sales.

Not much else to say................................hope the growing goes well?

The must have been the buckets I was trying to get a couple weeks ago. They said it was available, I put it in my shopping cart and they pulled them out when I tried to check out. I thought they weren't shipping them to the US anymore, but they were giving them to you. :( :)

Just joking about them shipping to you, but the rest is true. I'm still curious if they're available in the US anymore. I really didn't NEED them, but I was hording. Heck I've got a quarter freezer's worth of all the various goodies that will keep me level till they find PACT unconstipatable.

I think ots all centering around on registering the product with the FDA or sales in and to the US won't be allowed.
So, it appears V2 needs to get them registered and then I'd bet they will be back on Northeners site.

As far as them showing then removing, there was something about delivery time and US shipments being stopped, but it seemed early. They weren't doomed to UPS shipping then either so I think thats where it stuck you. If you had chosen UPS shipping before PACT, they should have went. Just guessing on all this but it does fit a lot of what I read.

Seems those are my last 2 I ordered.....wow. That was a looooog shipping time. I have 4 and that's all I ordered total. I thought I already had them. I have been busy.......
I still have part opened boxes sitting. No freezer stuff though. I had done a kinda last minute Thunder order and it was here in 2-3 days. UPS was the only option then as Northener had dropped the USPS as an option.

I checked to see. I ordered on the 20th. Unfortunately anything before the 23rd is not viewable now (temporarily?) but I received it before the 1st and I'm not sure if it came via USPS or UPS. I wasn't hope when it arrived. I know what they sent from the US warehouse (30 minutes from mine) came USPS, but not sure how the other half got here from Sweden.

I was concerned when I started reading about the additional fees I could get billed and the box didn't look like USPS so it was probably UPS but they just dropped it on my porch. Go figure.
