Lavatube's 510 connection broke off...

At first when i got my lava tube my 510 connection was pretty loose. Didn't mind that.
Tried unscrewing my my tank off and the connection just popped out....
Idk if my lava tube is even covered by warranty because I bought it from the Volcano stand at my local mall..

Thinking about buying a provari now with my paycheck that is coming in this friday......

So sorry to hear about this jonayran - but I would definitely at least take it back to the kiosk to see if there is some kind of warranty...you never know until you try. Good luck!

Sorry to hear that. Volcano stands behind their stuff 110 percent online so I can only imagine you would get the same warranty thru a brick and mortar purchase. You really should contact them. Of course, buying a Provari isn't a bad thing. The Lavatube is ok, but my Provari is the Big Dog in my mod house and my LT's are mainly for backup.

I have the lavatube from volcanocigs.com and the short version from ECigWizard DOT com, (From there to here in 3 days!), and I have owned a provari as well, and my favorite without a doubt is the short LT version from ECigWizard. Beats both the LT and PV hands down in my opinion.

I'd check on the warranty but as another said a Provari isn't a bad idea if you can "swing" it. Keep us updated....

I'll keep this thread updated. Seeing how much the provari is by itself with the 18650 battery end cap. I might just buy another lava tube... Money is tight. A pack of analogs crossed my mind for a quick minute..

Been there lately myself as I've been replacing my 24mg with 12 which is a totally different situation than your in but hang in there we're all here for ya.....

Just check the classys, there might be one at some point. They usually fetch close to the price you would pay for a new one though.

Yea, I'd almost just recommend purchasing new BUT like you said it's worth browsing the classys as ya never know.

Also with my old lava tube, everything still works but the 510 connector came off the wires. Is it possible for me to just solder this back on?

Yes it's possible, you may have to take the connector apart if the center wire is pulled out. Some people solder the center pin assembled but there's a little rubber piece in there that keeps the negative and positive from shorting, to much heat from soldering can damage it.

Volcano to you maybe 3 work days, that's how long it took to get mine, and like others said, it will be hard to find a Provari that sits on the classies for more than a couple of hours and the savings are not worth it, you might as well get a new one, Enjoy your new LT.

i have 2 LT and rite now both of them are sitting here dead with no endcaps and the battery wires disconnected...so far Volcanos customer service has been crap...they got my order# and address and i havent heard anything else from them....guess well see how next week goes.

you may want to login to the volcano site and check for updates on your ticket there. I had no issues with their support, but the system does not email replies to you all the time. You can see updates if you login on their website.

So far every things great no blemishes, and the connecter is sturdy as a rock unlike my other lava tube when i first got it.
