The svd was my first real mod, and have never had a problem with it. It the mod when someone starts asking about vaping when I'm at the lake or race track I hand it to them and say try it out for the day.

Now your making me want to roll the dice on it again! Where did you buy it and how long ago? I have been on the KSD V5 for about three weeks with no complaints at all but need more of a spare than my VS 2's. I figure the 3.1 needs it's own mod. :)

Ive been vaping for about 6 years now so it's not that bad in my opinion! Thought?

Well the stuff you were using for most of those 6 years probably wasn't as expensive as it is now. Many clearomizers right now are selling for upwards of $30+.......when people were buying PVs for that much. ;)

$2100 over 6 years is only about $0.90 a day, approx? Pretty good, like buying a cup of coffee at McDs. Obviously you are not buying a lot of stuff then

Smoking used to cost me between 450-600 per month so that would 4050-5400 in the 9 months off the ciggies.
I don't think I have averaged more than max 100 per month on the E-Stuff and that still includes 2 ego batteries, 1 Tesla VW , 1 Joyetech Evic Surpreme, 1 V4 Fogger, 1 EHPro Squape, various other smaller tanks and loads of different juices plus cotton and kanthal.
Only just got into the rebuildable so expect the figure to rise a bit now :)

in less than 2 months i've spent about $5000. over 1500 in juice, just under 1000 in mods, just under 1000 in atty's, just over 1000 in accessories such as batts, wire, supplies, a tool cart  , chargers and what not, and slightly over 300 in diy stuff (of which i've only made 1 grants clone which is steeping and a plain 50/50 12mg lol). According to the smoking calculator i would have spent $265 on smokes. Totally worth it

I've been vaping the majority of the last 8 months and I've spent around $210 on devices, $150 on juice and maybe $60 on coils. Total cost is about $410. I've averaged probably a pack of cigarettes a week, so about $208. So my nicotine habit has cost me about $618 in the last 8 months, whereas if I was still smoking a pack and a half a day, that cost would have been about $2,160 so I have saved about $1,500 or so.

I figure I've run up about $1000 since mid-July but that includes the hardware basics for DIY, so I should be able to cut back the rate of spending... but then there's all the new flavors i need, and the Provari I want if they ever get around to releasing the P3, and I really want one of those cute Eleaf Isticks and then I'll need a mini-Nautilus and... It's a good thing cigarettes are so expensive around here, 'cause I'm still way in the black!

Started vaping in june and have spent over a grand so far I'm sure. Recently purchased a Reo and I'm going the diy route now so the spending should slow down a good bit.when I decided I was ready to quit smoking and started looking into all the options there are with regards to vaping, I could see right away that it could get expensive, but I said to myself that if it could help me kick my 29year habit I didnt care how much it costs. I havent had a cigarette since the day I bought my first ego and I havent kept up with how much money I've spent on gear and juice, but I do know its been worth every penny

I'd have to sit down with the hubs to really figure it out, but I'm thinking we've spent around $1000 combined for mods, juices, tanks & batteries. That being said, since I quit smoking in January, and he quit in July, we've "saved" about $700.

I have I think one more purchase that I really want to get, and that is a box mod, or a different mech mod, but I am not looking to spend more than $200 right now. With the exception of juices, which we are seriously considering just making our own, and maybe STOP buying every payday...I am hoping to only be spending about $50 a month total per month on juice after this first year is over.

When I'm not buying *shinies* (which is a lot, but anyway), I don't spend much at all. What my son (28 years old, not a child) spent yesterday on ONE bottle of e-juice from a brick and mortar ($20, but he loves the shop with its sit-at vape bar and all the talking, lol), I spend on enough DIY liquids that last 3 months! I spent $10 on enough cotton for at least a year (conservative estimate), and $10 on wire that will last a year. So... basically pennies a day.

NOW... add the everytime I think I'm totally satisfied with the stuff I have I see something new and shiny, and the savings go down a bit. LOL Still, I tend to spend around $100 a month on new shiny stuff, so nothing compared to analogs.

Total, over the last couple of years, I have probably spent a couple thousand dollars getting everything from egos to mods, equipment and carrying cases, cartos to clearos to tanks to RBAs. When considering even my "roll your own" analog spending habits, I would have spent roughly the same, and my actual new shiny stuff spending has gone down a lot, it's fine with me. The fact that if I were to smoke analogs I would HAVE to buy more every day/week, but if I don't have the money for something shiny my supply of liquids and wire will get me through with no needed purchasing makes this a really affordable habit. i don't really HAVE to buy anything, probably for another year, maybe two (lots of nic in freezer, plenty of flavorings and VG, PG, wire and cotton).

Just wanted to add that as cheap as I am --- and I AM because I can't afford not to be -- switching from analogs to vaping was NEVER a cost consideration for me. It was a health consideration, even though I haven't had any signs or diagnosis of pending problems related to smoking, after 35 years it was only a matter of time.
