While snowboarding a week ago, I pulled my 510 out at the Lodge. Got a lot of strange looks (Like, what the FU%$, is this guy smoking) but no one "reported" me.

I went up to the bar and caught the aroma of Analog cigarettes with my new "Spidy Sense" of smell. I asked if you can smoke in here, the bar tender said "Can you smell that?", guess he just took a drag off a cigarette and hid it in the bar. :) He then said NO, you cant smoke here, so I showed off my e-cigg, blew it in his face, told him where to buy.

I do get the strange looks from people while in public places, but only one person (A very HOT MILF) has ever asked me not to smoke. After a brief explanation, "this is a personal Vaporizer, not a cigarette" and then blowing some vapor in there face, its all good. ;)

Actually, when someone asks me about my e-cig, which is often because I usually have it hanging from a lanyard, I almost always blow in their face. But I warn them first, and if they say no, then I don't. Most people are curious, though, and let me, and then their face just lights up.
Usually, I do it with Mint, or with Vanilla or Chocolate, though. Not with a Tobacco-flavored one.

When people blow smoke in my face, e cig or not, its kind of offensive. I guess I'm glad that no one comes up and blows vapor in my face. I just dont like that.

Most of my friends are smokers so I just go outside with them to vape. Not a bad idea considering I've turned several smokers into vapers already (got 4 very intrigued people requesting a drag and liking it just last night).

I've only vaped indoors a couple times and I just held it in and no one noticed. I have no problem with people asking wtf I'm smoking, but I just don't want a confrontation.

Blowing vapor or smoke in anyone's face is just rude and immature, unless they're asking you to do so. I stealth vape (discreetly take a puff and hold it in until there's no visible vapor) if I'm in a no-smoking area.

I've managed to do this in a non smoking twelve step meeting, a couple of starbucks, and even a county courthouse with no complaints. However, it will just take a few inconsiderate ...... to ruin it for everybody.

If you're in a non-smoking area, don't be an idiot and conspicuously inhale and exhale vapor. Not only is it good manners, it's also common sense.

No offence, but unless it was a female, i wouldn't care who or how big the person was, if they blew smoke in my face they would of got a right hook. I'm not aggressive but that's damn right rude, i suggest you think twice before doing-so again.

I never blow vapor in someone's face, but when someone asks about my e-cig I let a big drag slowly roll out without inhaling it so they can get a smell, and alot of people like the fragrance of almost anything I'm vaping on, some don't have enough sent to them.

I had a friend next to me at a dinner party while we were waiting for dinner to start I took a couple drags, he really didn't like that I was vaporizing so close to him, didn't say anything I could just tell. So I went outside to vape after I ate. I don't mind hanging with smokers most of them are interested in what I have, and where they can get one.

You can't smoke indoors at all here. You can't even smoke within 20ft of doors and windows either. I went out to the bars for my sister inlaw's 21st birthday tuesday night.

I hadn't been to the bars since before I started vaping. Me, my hubby, and my brother were vaping in every bar at least 6 that night, and not a person said a word to us about it.

I asked one of the bartenders at the last bar we went to about it and he said he sees people with them all the time and they have no problem at all with them.

I went to downtown San Diego (The Gaslamp) for a special brunch a few weeks ago and wound up having to hit up one of the bars (Tilted Kilt) to watch the Chargers game. The place was completely packed and every seat and table were taken, but I asked the waitress if I could use my electronic cigarette anyway, and she said the manager uses one and it would be fine.

It was awesome to be able watch the game without having to go outside to have a smoke.

I have had at least 5 people ASK me to blow vapor right at them in the 6 weeks since I began vaping. They were curious about the odor. All said they either couldn't smell anything OR said they noticed a faint, but not at all unpleasant, aroma. ALL had absolutely no objections to me continuing to vape in their presence (home, car, etc.)
