Hey all, My name is joshua, and I've been smoking for 15 years. I heard about the vaporizor last semester at college, and just picked it up at the dewey avenue smoke shop for 70 bucks.

I don't know what the big deal is with the legislation, because No one will sell the e-cigs to minors as it is. And as for adults, if we didn't want to be able to buy something potentally dangerous, we wouldn't buy... guns, video games, mcdonalds food, soda pop, burger king food, taco bell food, televisions, not to mention tobacco products. they should leave us alone.

Legislatures are just looking to protect the revenues from the sin tax slapped on tobacco that pays supposedly for education and children's health care (but likely just lines the pockets of the special interests). Keep in mind less than 20 years ago cartons of cigs were roughly 1/4 of the cost today, and you can get an idea of how much in taxes they are raking in. Greedy politicos are not looking out for our best interests.

Haha, welcome to ECF and happy vaping! BTW vaping and gaming go hand in hand, no ashing, no looking for a lighter, no smoke in the eyes syndrome. I have an auto batt just for playing games so my hands are free. I'm talking all my gamer friends into getting ecigs. Now if the only made ecigs with no vapor or led for snipers.... Kidding, well, not really.

15 years ago when I started smoking a pack was $1.90 in NJ, now it's $7. Pa has just about the same situation $6 now for a pack...

I remember we used to buy dad's Carltons for $15 a carton at the grocery store in the mid 1980s in Louisiana. Can't even get generics that cheap on an Indian reservation now, even adjusted for inflation.

Hi Josh and welcome to ECF. I think the reason they don't like them is all the lost revenue from people not lighting up. Plus who do we think we are for not asking them first. Had it been their idea I'm sure they would be pushing them alot. I remember cigarettes at 15 cents a pack.
