My theory on this is that the pleasure of nicotine is actually short lived (weeks) but sets up a connection between smoking and 'reward' such that though the reward is empty it is associated with pleasure, with 'my time'. Like a trinket you kept from the girl or guy who gave you your first kiss ...

...So of the 40 a day, how many were for nicotine... I just always had one lit.
This E-cig is cool, I don't even want to smoke.. I'll just vape and wash everything that smells like tobacco. And maybe I'll dilute some juice and smoke "lite" and find out...
But I need to order some Juice, so I'll pick up a box of carts to get me by, order some juice, find some PG and some flavors.... I can vape some blanks here and there... a cart was lasting me all day, at first...
...I'm effectively out of juice, it should have been here yesterday! Damn! I have 2 njoy carts left... It's Friday, the mail should be here early... it's a holiday weekend... tracking says it's still in Louisville!!!... 4 ml of Pg in the bottle and ready for nic.... Both those carts are dry! Damn! I haven't smoked in a month! Why can't I do this? ....?.. I don't want to smoke.

OHH! The mail! It's here, rip it open, in the house, mix, load the 4081 and the 401 vaped them both, 2 fisted... seriously... then had to take a nap.
