I used to be a network administrator until I got laid off. Since I was eligible for retirement from that company, I began collecting a pension which is not enough to live on, so I work the help desk for a government agency. I am allowed to vape at my desk as long as I keep the vapor down when there are lots of people around. Since I work 2nd shift and weekends, there are rarely lots of people around, so I can pretty much vape to my heart's content.

I am a Commercial Sales Manager, Basically, I sell auto parts to the State Police, Sheriff and Motorpool divisions in my area. Retail sucks at every level.......... It's very stressful.
I vape at work, but I usually keep it on the sly.
I would LOVE to find a way to make good money from home, Have no idea where to begin! lol

Thanks again to all the people here at ECF serving our country.
You are great people and are in peoples prayers more than you think! Get home safe!

PhD student in sociology. I mostly work from home now, but when I'm out in the field doing research or teaching I don't vape on the job. Other than that, I vape ALL day long while doing grading, research writing, etc on my trusty MacBook. My partner works for the state and can't vape at work. I do know her boss appreciates her kicking the cancer stick habit, but as a professional courtesy she still takes "smoke breaks" or vapes covertly in the restroom.

I had a professor in college I wish had vaped while he was grading. Loved him, but he'd leave the random burn hole thru term papers. Little note at the top, 'Sorry! I dropped my cigarette!' Great prof tho.

And to all those who have served and are still doing so, I feel rude for not saying this before now:

Thank you for all your doing and all you've done.

Hi there.. I handle the surplus law enforcement equipment (Radios, light bars, radar units, etc) for the State of Texas.. I vape at work and have actually come across some vaping equipment in airport property (We also get all the stuff lost at any airports in Texas).. No one seems to mind (and I would know for sure if anyone did)

I'm a Catastrophe Insurance Adjuster and I have to see several people per day, in their homes,
inspecting and estimating damages from Mother Nature. I use to have to spend $10 a week in
breath mints and $10 a week in clean smelling aresols that I "thought" masked the smell of my
OLD nasty habit of smoking.
WRONG !!:facepalm::blink::(
Now that I have totally quit analogs and I am almost 7 months into vaping.....
and I can smell again.....
I know know that none of the cover ups really worked.
Nowdays, I am very assured that the "smell of cigs" is gone forever!
I "NOW" smell the nasty smell of cigs, when I go into smokers homes...
and NOTHING covers up that smell. Nothing!

Yea to ECF and Yea to me for finding my way here.

I'm a stay at home dad. I've done a lot of stuff before this though. Things I've done: grocery store clerk, department store sales, golf caddy, USAF (veteran), unloading trucks at Walmart, drilling for natural gas (roughneck), Ford car sales, tearing up and installing railroad tracks, butchering cows at a slaughter house, custom cabinet delivery building and install, night club security and Haz Waste disposal. I'm still kinda doing the last one (dirty diapers).

Former US Dept of Defense field intel analyst (SF Team kicks in the door- I ask uncomfortable questions) out on disability for a broken spine and messed up knee for 2 years. Prior to that I was law enforcement for 12 years.

I keep busy as an Admin on a watch forum. Think I have anew hobby though... I got a 510 generic disposable 2 weeks ago locally (overpaid) and been loving it. Dropped the analogs the same day and haven't looked back!

I work from home, lucky for me, selling Avon and Tiny Tillia baby and mommy products. The big key for me tho, was that the house i rent is a NON smoking home, and the few times the landlord has visited, if she even SMELLS smoke, she flips out . .. .
I have literally tried EVERYTHING to quite analogs, and the vaping has saved my life, literally, as i have health problems, which i why i have to work from home! I love not having to stop what im doing to go outside . . . i'm getting alot more work done now!!! lol
