I one time looked up the snowiest cities in the US. Believe it or not, Syracuse actually gets more snow than Buffalo. From working in Syracuse, I see that's because Syracuse seems to get snow just about every day. Buffalo may not get as much but when they get it...they really get it....but it's still not as much as Syracuse for the season.

Do you think they'd be interested in a meet if something was set up? They don't necessarily have to be a member here to attend a meet and who knows, maybe they'll consider joining after meeting others. Only thing is, you'll have to give them the info since you're the only one who knows them....lol
