So I recently decided I really needed another Poldiac, and having several Provari's I figured I could part with one (mini 2.5 black/blue). Put it up in the classies and it sold almost immediately. Turns out the guy I sold it to was from Jersey and he had a job in NYC so he came by to pick it up.

Now - while its horrible to give up such a beautiful device, the look on his face when I handed him the new Vari with a few batteries and the text I later got explaining how amazing it was made it worthwhile. We chatted for a while about how he was psyched about getting off of his egos and how the Vari really was the best VV device out there.

All in all, while I'm upset one of the Vari's is gone its always a pleasure to put one into the hands of someone you know will love em.

Thats it - Cheers comrades.

Sorry to go off topic, but since eratik and chickenbok are both here, have either of you heard of the "king" by sure fire vapors? I was looking at the brass one and it is really nice. I just don't know much about high end mechs. I'm sure it wont hold it's value as well as say a poldiac or a Nemesis but it sure is purty.

Sorry if this is a tad off topic for the Provari sub-forum...

I currently have 2 VV devices, a Provari and a VV Reos Grand. I love them. I'd like one more device, as a secondary backup and, well, to try a real heavy hitter mech mod, see if I care for the style.

Why Poldiac over others, like GG? I'm generally going to favor my Greek brothers when buying a mech, simply out of loyalty to my peeps, although this is an easy decision, as it seems Greek devices fill out most of the top spots in the mech world.

Is there some post I should be reading about what to look for in a mech mod, a sub-forum where I can glean relevant info?

There are two mechs in my book that stand above the rest - mind you, I don't like telescoping devices (no GG here) and my real passions in a mech are build quality, customer service, and sexiness.

If you want a mech that stands tall with both of those, I'd suggest either a GP Paps 2.5/LUX or a Poldiac. Poldiacs are almost always available through MMvapors and GP's come into stock through vapourart (I believe they have a release on Friday). They both hit like beats, look stunning, and will put a dent in your pocket.

I can't tell you which one is better as they're different - one is a bottom button, one is a side, but they are both, without a doubt, complete works of art that function as well as they look.

Spectacular, thanks!

The only reason I want to avoid GG is it seems like you can never get parts, and while I like a bit of exclusivity, I don't want it at the cost of a working mod.

I'm not sure how I feel about the bottom button - but I've changed my mind about so many things since I started vaping 2 months ago, there's no telling what configuration I'll like next month. I'll probably end up picking up both and selling the one I don't prefer. Or just keeping both.

Well, I'm unloading one of my satin silver minis. Need to make room for incoming mechs. When a provari V3 is available, I may jump at that.

I'm probably going to sell the green led one to my cousin. I like the blue led more.
