Um... I just purchased a titanium Kabuki..... I'm kind of ashamed to admit it even, but I just had 9 titanium posts shoved into my gums to replace my teeth roots and that was expensive as all get out, so when I saw they had it in TITANIUM???

I'm afraid I rewarded myself by purchasing something in titanium to reward myself for not smoking through all that agony, and compared to the TEEF? It was inexpensive.... but only COMPARITIVELY.

I think it may've been the single most expensive item I've purchased for vaping, though.... OMG. Well, the nic was that expensive, so maybe the Kabuki will last just as long????

I think I'm going to LOVE it, and I have a silver Tesla Steampunk for it to sit on.

That said, I'm also so EXCITED, LOL. And, it IS a new month.... To be fair. Oh, I could've waited for labor day etc., etc., but I'm going back to work soon, I want something bigger than the nautilus and also HOW AWESOME. I really can't return to sneak smoking at work now, I have ZERO excuse.

Congrats! Kabuki is an amazing atomizer and quite beautiful. I have 2 steel ones and a Gun Metal Zenkote with P3 connections and like them very much.

Now that you are building coils you should consider buying a Kayfun 5 [emoji16]

I have a couple clones. I think that's going to do me for now, Tomasius, I don't plan on another piece of equipment until I hit 6 months, not after this one... :D

Of course, best laid plans and all that. Wicking that first coil was.... Well, I got the Kabuki because I don't want to run into a coil/wick problem at work :) So I am telling m'self. :)

Also, I'm glad I got it when I *did*... Zen is out of stock of the Titanium this morning.... I was looking at the metal tank, just out of interest (I'm clumsy) but, I do like to see my juice levels anyway.... I'm checking out a thread about the Kabuki, and *only* getting more excited. 2 more dental visits (one today, one Thursday) and after review of labwork/X-rays and visiting my pdoc, I THINK I will be out of the house and back to work shortly (and out of you guys's hair more, LOL) though I can't thank this forum ENOUGH for both being a HUGE support to my vaping experience (TWO MONTHS where did the time go...? And the $$$? :D) and very kind to me during my ECF "learning curve."

You guys are just awesome :)

Oh man... My kabuki arrived last night. I have to admit, I was a bit leery right out of the gate, when one O-ring (the one separating the P3 connection from the 510 connection was warped, and not inserted correctly.

That said, I put it together using the 1.6 coil (which I've never vaped) after washing and rinsing everything.... This is going to be my forever vape, I think. :) It had unbelievable flavor right after I started vaping it which is only improving as my coil breaks in. Also, for some reason the level in the tank won't go down like the N2 does! I filled the thing up last night, and I'm still vaping only a quarter of a tank this morning, (I woke up early, excited about getting my teeth/dentures back today!) I don't seem to chain vape it so much due to the amazing flavor production, and there's something about this tank that just seems to generate a LOT of vapor very easily... I'm using it with airflow almost completely closed, and I just love the vape. I'm thinking I don't need to vape it like crazy, the flavor is so good, or this tank is just magic or something. Absolutely no leaking, no problems getting it open at all, even w/o juice on the O-rings, and just extremely user friendly, that said, I have not refilled it yet.... :)

So, I'll take a slightly wonky O-ring and replace it happily. The build quality is fantastic, the tank is super light, I am going to be using this tank for a looooong time, I think.

Any recommendations for TC coils in this tank that don't ruin flavor? Or even a list of coils to figure out which ones I can try? I've briefly looked online but I would like suggestions from those who've tried it/vaped it. It's okay though, if I don't get answers I will head over to that intimidatingly long tootle puffers thread :)

This is worth the price, IMO. And I like nice things, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. :)

Yup.. I think I made that mistake with the triton ceramic coils... I was able to find some Nickle minis.... I think TC on the Steampunk should be able to handle nickle, in fact, I wasn't thrilled about the idea of Nickle even though I'm sure it will be fine.... More interested in the taste and etc. I kind of really like the 1.6 coil too, it's a nice balance between the 1.8 and the 0.7. Though I guess I can't really comment on if they're better as the dang tank is SO superior. I'm going to have trouble vaping anything else for a bit, I think. Which is kind of the ideal outcome for paying so much for a tank, instead of disappointment/ this isn't that good, etc.

It IS that good. And I LOVE the N2. Still a great tank to take offroading, hiking, or whatever.... ;)

Nickel is really the easiest metal to use for TC as the TCR is so high. It was also the first metal used for TC, then Ti. SS came along after as it was more challenging due to a low TCR making it more difficult. If TC is functional on the Steampunk, this coil will not be a challenge.

[SNIPPED].....Funny thing is just last night Debi (better half going on 37 years) mentioned I'd said I'd probably save money not just my lungs vaping instead smoking and said "so why in less than 2 months have you spent $800?" (We have tracked our $ in Quicken for decades) Well I have a backup mod, backup for my backup (and now another backup lol), couple spare attys, spare atty glass, couple year supply of coils, 'bout a liter of various ejuices enough for months. She just laughed.:D
I think I've got a lot of people beat on this one.....1st 3 months spent 3K+ on vaping. Enjoyed spending so I wasn't all that concerned with the savings. Learned real quick that being on this forum wasn't going to save me a dime!!! ;)
My purchases now are so few & far between that I don't remember when's the last time I bought anything.

Well in addition to the gold, blue and purple GX2/4's on hand a red and a green are on their way. Gotta be color coordinated lol. Except brought the purple and gold to the Roastery today, wearing a blue shirt so much for that excuse. Cost for those 5 GX2/4's ~$300, less than 5 weeks worth of cigarettes no biggy.

Now to get into DIY juice and stock up just in case.:D Do have over a half liter of commercial juices on hand, all various tobacco...
