So you're using VG based nicotine liquid, too?
Yes

I vape max VG but use PG as it’s my understanding it lasts longer in storage. But it makes me have to use VG based flavorings

In @Rossum's wonderful thread covering his nic-freezing experiment, he found that the 100% VG nic held up better. The downside, of course, is that it's thicker than molasses straight out of the freezer.nic in pg lasts longer in storage?
rats.
i bot 50/50 n i don't even like vg.
I'm using 5 year old PG and VG base nic, and find no difference.nic in pg lasts longer in storage?

I stand corrected. I wish I would’ve read this five minutes ago I just ordered a bottle of PG based! In @Rossum's wonderful thread covering his nic-freezing experiment, he found that the 100% VG nic held up better. Personally, if i vape anything other than 80 VG 20 PG (in flavour), i feel a horrid burning sensation in my throat!
Which brand did you find the worst? I feel sometimes some companies don't get pg vg ratios perfectly rightI was getting issues with PG, as well. Some brands bother me more than others though.

Its a shame when it happens i guess, ive only ever tried flavours in PG, whats your stance on on VG flavour making a true max VG juiceI've seen brands list levels incorrectly in just one ad or listing. Like it will say 70-30 one place and 65-35 or 80-20 elsewhere. (Probably at some supply place I was browsing.)

I haven't mixed yet DIY, but the place I get juice from a lot gives you a choice of base plus they list if the flavors have PG, artificial or natural flavors, organic et al.
So I can get 30mls of Organic VG (100 %, diluted with h20). These haven't really given me a sore nose, inside or out!
How long have you been making your own, btw?
(snip) Back when I started vaping lots of people were vaping 90pg, me included. It probably the reason I've been a 10W Tootle Puffer since starting to vape. All I ever wanted to do is recreate the effect of smoking a cigarette.
Perhaps my Fuma was 90pg?... I do not know but they reportedly had 24ml of nic and each drag was a new adventure in pain. Yet I DID NOT WANT A CIGARETTE for at least an hour. The pods kept bursting and the juice made my face numb but they sure did work.
When I had the guts to try vaping again a few years later I was hoping to get the same effect. Not even close. So I settled on comfortable drags using 60-70 vg. Ahhh, nice n smooth. I owe a big thank you to whomever invented that mixture.
Only issue I have is occasional vape tongue. Sure I cough a bit more by sundown than when smoking but it's my lungs clearing out some.
Now high dose salt nic makes my asthma flare up. So I walk around in a drunken stooper between the nicotine buzz and lack of o2. No thank ya.
That was Kurt's assertion some years ago. I haven't seem a whole lot of difference so far.In @Rossum's wonderful thread covering his nic-freezing experiment, he found that the 100% VG nic held up better. The downside, of course, is that it's thicker than molasses straight out of the freezer.
I wouldn't worry about it. Either one will last for many years in the freezer.I stand corrected. I wish I would’ve read this five minutes ago I just ordered a bottle of PG based!
