I used to vape 36 when I first started vaping, once I moved to snuff I have been vaping 10 -15. I think right now I only vape for the actual smoking experience. I am pretty sure I could vape 0 nicotine and not notice as long as I have snuff.

Yeah I hope to drop down the nic level as well once I get in to this. Not sure how it will go.. snus and snuff, just snuff, just snus.. lol.. I guess the journey begins I also saw a video where TropicalBob made a throat spray with cloraseptic and nic juice... I have cherry cloraseptic here.. hmm.. naaaww.. I'll wait and see how the others go

hehehe. I have two wonderful kitties.. My big squeezy boy Bryce(means swift in Gaelic).. and my little sprite kitty girl Selene (Goddess of the Moon.. in training). I am a HUGE cat lover hence the name prr2freya. I also sometimes think I am a cat myself. Everyone else may have been descended by apes, but us redheads are descended from cats! (kidding but maybe not~_*) My other favorite animal is the ferret. I use to have a beautiful boy who died of old age and took in rescues, but now just me and the kitties. used to have rats as well... and a bearded dragon.. but now I am just a cat lady.

I read the whole thing too. All of us tend to ramble on at one point or another. I enjoy reading all of the posts on this side of the tracks. Your story sounds just like mine and several others here. It is very familiar. Yes I too think you have come to the right place.

I hope so, so far, this side of the tracks has helped me mentally more than anything. Just knowing there is another way, and taking the steps to try it

Well.. thanks to this.. here I am. I ordered the sample in the link below. I had heard of this stuff but was hesitant being a female(sounds silly I know), and that I was repulsed by people who chewed, but this isn't the same soooo... here I am to find out more and hope it helps along with my PV to keep me from falling off the wagon again. It's been a hard year trying to give up the analogs.

there has definitely been a lot of females who post here with this same feeling before trying snus/snuff, but (not so) surprisingly there are a lot of females who regularly post in the smokeless subforum! I got my girlfriend to start snusing with General Mini Mints, and she loves it!

I'd recommend starting with the General Mini Mint, as the mini size is typically good to start with both for size and nicotine. If you find yourself needing more nicotine, try a full size portion! Welcome!

glad you enjoyed the camel snus. Lots of people on this forum were first introduced to snus through camel, including me. You're right about the nicotine content, Camel SNUS doesn't have much nicotine at all(I can't remember, but I think it's somewhere around 2mg/portion). The general mini mints are 4mg per portion, and the regular sized general portions are 8mg. You can find snus up to 17mg/portion(and higher I think), but be prepared for quite a nicotine punch!

As for size, the General Mini Mints are about the same width as the Camel SNUS, but the camel's are quite a bit longer. And regular sized portions typically tend to be pillow-shaped, so a bit wider. If you find yourself liking the mini sized portions more, you can fine quite a few different snus in mini sized. I like Thunder Frosted Minis in the morning, because they are mini sized, but still are 8mg of nic. Fellinni Mini Mints are delicious, also. My personal favorite all-time snus is the General Wintergreen!

Quite a battle with Mom, huh? My mom still thinks I'll die of cancer after my face melts off from using snus. Some people won't listen, now matter how much solid evidence to the contrary. Even regular chew is a lot safer than a smoke....but I still wouldn't touch the stuff. Camel is safe to use, it just doesn't deliver like Swedish snus and costs a lot more. At least you got your feet wet and found it's not too bad .

Redhead? Irish maybe?? Bit o fiery temperament?? Aye me thinks. We need more Irish blood this side of the tracks .

I am one of the non affiliated General Minimint fangirls here. I also like the cinnamon flavoured Merry Christmas snus you can get at Yuletide. And the Oomph purified white portions.
I am about to acquire a small freezer just for snus. The microwave oven expired just within warranty last month and I have been offered a deal on a cheaper non convection model plus a refund voucher which may be enough to pay for a small freezer. Whoopee! One of the benefits of independent living and grown up kids, no-one can nag you for what you put in a freezer.

I am also looking forward to trying the snuff.. also got an email this morning from MrSnuff saying that has shipped! After reading on here, I got one that people say has high nic (Toque Spanish Gem) and QWS Irish Coffee via the members only section having the Crazy Combo Sale. You get a bullet of it, 5mg refill, and a black hanky. lol. Great starter kit I also got a minty one so if my nose dries out from the others, I read here somewhere the minty ones help with that.

I like gettin' slapped around by the regular sized Thunder Frosted (16mg), but I've had to lay low lately. The spearmint oil tends to make my gums a bit sore with prolonged use, so straight 'baccy flavor for me for a while.

The sun is not nice to me. I have to wear SPF redhead (spf 50) Or I quickly go from white to lobster red, then peel right back to white. Painful and I will never be able to tan.

Is it OK to move the snus to a diff spot every 10mins to keep one spot from getting too irritated? I moved the camel one around a few times. Didn't suck on it or anything.. Just took it out and reinserted it in another spot. This is probably a silly question.
