Just a fun little fantasy thread.

You just came into the dough. Rich Uncle passed, lottery... whatever. You got all the financial stuff handled, the the rest in a big annual market CD and life is good.
So now you sit back and charge your battery with a $100 dollar bill.
Do you go on a PV buying spree? Kits, Mods and supplies?

What would it be?

For me I would probably settle in with what I have right now but stock up for the end days on batteries, atty's and things like that. Have a different colored PCC for each day. Have every colored 510 batt in every size. My biggest poison would be juice. I would have GALLONS before I was done.
I also would start a corporation to fight all the ecig lies and ban attempts and promote them heavily, With a provision to fight against sale to minors. Also get involved in the manufacturing of equipment and juice, making it all the best it can be.
Lastly I would start a PV lounge with supplies in my area.

Lets see your dreams...

I have a TON of spare time, seeing as I work overnights part-time...If I came in to a huge amount of money, I would do quite a few things. I would buy my parents house outright and let them live in it rent free, only having to pay property taxes each year. My younger sister would have a trust fund setup for her so that she could go to college tuition free. I would buy my girlfriend and I a house, buy myself a brand new Nissan GT-R. I would also setup in every mall in St. Louis, a complete Vaping store, complete with batts, atty's, carto's, e-liquid, etc. and continue to work on converting analog smokers to vaping for the rest of my days!

First off, my husband could quit his truck driving job and come home. Carter's Grove here in Williamsburg is going up for auction next week Carter's Grove - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia They guy missed the final two payments on it!!!!! I need to go buy lottery tickets. I'd buy a new building for our church. The furnace was on the fritz again tonight and we were freezing. I'd get my mother-in-law a private plane (and pilot), because she is always driving from Ohio to Illinois to take care of her mom. There are tons of charities I give to. I'd make a big donation to Colonial Williamsburg; only partly so we could stay in one of the special guest houses there. I'd buy a spinning wheel, a couple of nice wooden recorders and a French horn :) Oh, and liposuction, laser hair removal, and a couple of tattoos. LOL

As far as e-cig stuff, I don't think I'd stock up too much. There is always something new and better coming out. So I wouldn't want a pile of obsolete stuff sitting around. I would buy a caseload of disposable e-cigs and carry them with me to hand out to people who ask me about my e-cig.

When I buy Carter's Grove with my lottery winnings next week, you are all invited over. You can vape in the house :)

If I came into 160 mil, I'd have to pick up one of these:

EC 32-3 CERIUM UNDERGROUND SHELTER SYSTEM Full setup is maybe 2-3 mil fully stocked.

But on the vaping side, I would have to try EVERY mod that's on the market now. I'd probably start of collection and attempt to get ahold of all older mods that are no longer made, and have them all on display :)

Aaaaand I'd have one of these. Always wanted one, but I'll never own one until I can properly care for one (HUGE indoor/outdoor enclosure, the whole kit and kaboodle. Tons of $$$. I highly doubt I'll ever be able to afford to give one the life it needs, but a man can dream!)

angelique, you can actually get a spinning wheel right now. I actually have 3, well 2 that I use, 1 antique. The ones that I use are from new zealand, and are made by majacraft. I also have drop spindles, a charka, tons of wool, cotton, silk and alpaca to spin, loads of knitting needles and yarn and.... oh my, I think that my vaping hobby is actually cheap in comparison. Some of my drop spindles are really one of a kind- like my mammoth ivory spindle (10,000 year old ivory and costs more than a vv ali'i), and my kauri wood spindle and my moose antler spindle.
Hmmm, if I were to win this lottery, I would buy a big house, have a special room built for my spinning and weaving, with a big porch to get to from huge sliding glass doors so that I could have both my spinning friends and my vaping friends over for a big BBQ spin in/vape in! With a fully stocked 'bar' of all the ejuice flavors I could find so that everyone could try them of course:laugh:

After making sure all my ducks were in a row, I don't think I'd really stock up for the "end of days". If I was that well off taking a trip to another country a couple of times a year wouldn't be such a big deal. With new stuff coming out all the time I wouldn't want a huge stock pile.

My splurge would have to be 2 guitars, one I know would be an older Les Paul, the other a new acoustic, but do I go with a Martin or a Taylor? (I don't really want/need a custom made one) Oh wait make that 3 guitars, I'd get a baby Taylor for my daughter, and professional lessons for her

Bootsand - Have you considered a Savannah cat? They are more like a domestic house-cat, so do not require as much special care. Savannah (cat) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I can't find the video I am looking for in English, but you can still watch it and see how beautiful they are. YouTube - CATS 101. SAVANNAH Personally, I am more of a dog person than a cat person, but I would have a Savannah cat.

DesiG - Another spinning vapor :) How cool! Thank God for e-cigs because nobody would want any yarn I spin if I smoke. It would be stinky. I have several drop spindles. I love them. You can spin anywhere. If I am going to be sitting around for a while, at a demo or something, I usually bring knitting, but sometimes I bring spinning. PM me and I'll give you my trick for setting singles to make them easier to work with.
I know wheels are readily available. I have had my eye on an Ashford traveler for years now, but $500 has just not been in the budget. I might be able to get a Fedelis Spinning Wheels I don't care for the looks of the bicycle wheel, but am told they spin beautifully.

Sorry for the hijack. Back to the fantasizing!

i love the tank idea, but i'd love to own and operate a fighter jet, and then go about buying juices from vendors by the gallon, and a crazy amount of mod's...ohh and a private shooting range

Ok, not just a tank, but a restored or new built WWII fighter.. Dont ask me which one... P-51, P-38, Bf109, FW190.

Oh and making sure the guns indeed work, set up some strafing targets in my private shooting range area!

I'd also make an island. But here in WV. It would be wicked. Then, I'd fly Mac out(you know my inland island has an airport) everyother weekend for some live Metal. I wouldn't stock the island with exotic animals, but possibly paint some horses up to look like zebras(is that legal?). Maybe put in the worlds largest lazy river.

I'd build the most wicked house in the world:
Imagine 18 24'x36' quonset huts side by side, linked at the back by a 10' wide hallway. The other end of each is all glass with a fireplace up the center. Instead of sheet metal, they're 18" steel-reinforced concrete covered by twelve feet of dirt. The 'patio' outside each room doubles as a tilt-up shutter to seal the end.

Huge rooms, high ceilings, perfect views, tiny energy use, and as storm-proof as you can get.

On the PV front, I'd pioneer my own design: the size and shape of a normal analog. You take one out of the pack, smoke an analog's-worth, put it back in the pack upside down. When you've used all 20, you drop the pack into a unit that recharges them wirelessly and refills them automatically. (No new technology needed. Expense of molds/tooling/etc. approaches a mil, but per unit cost wouldn't be very high.)
