Honestly, the best purchase isn't always the cheapest one, FWIW. You can get great service from chinese companies, as well as not so great service from US companies. Greenhouse one offers 1 year warranty on ALL their products, even attys. Their shipping is $15(which is only slightly more than I paid domestically for my eGo). There are also great US suppliers, like SmokeStik. As long as you continue to purchase cartos from them, there is a lifetime warranty on the batts. A cost of about $30 a month, and they are the closest to a "real" cig that I've had from a PV. Even though the initial cost seems high(well worth it though). The point is, there are as many types of vapers as their are PVs on the market. Some just want that cig-like experience, some want high-voltage/low ohm/high watt juice boxes. And some buy the best PV on the market(Like the GG). There is no way a new PV user can take advice like "spend this much here" and it just fits them perfectly. All we can do is offer advice.

OP, I'll have to try some of the BWB. I've heard good things.

I actually have a local place that sells RN4081 and about 15 different flavors of juice. A guy my husband works with showed him the one he had just bought knowing that I smoked. That same night (09/23/2010) I went and bought the starter kit with two batteries which cost me 74.95 but came with everything I needed including a uncharged and already charged battery. I wasn't sure at first that it was the right thing for me but they let me try it out right there and I LOVED IT! I so far have had no issues with it and have went from 3 packs a day down to around a half a pack of reg. cigs. which I plan on stopping all together. I have figured up the cost of everything I have spent so far and it has almost paid for itself in the first few days. They also have a website if anyone is interested Electonic Cigs - Smoke Tonight and maybe you could also give me a heads up if I am being ripped or not on the prices since I am new and don't know what it should be costing lol.

If it got you to cut out almost 3 packs a day then it was worth every penny! (but you can buy a way better unit for less money or at least about the same - just a heads up for next time) :)

Well, what you paid for your kit is a little on the steep side, but not terrible. The prices on the Smoke Tonight website look reasonable, although I don't know anything about their reputation as a vendor. Maybe someone has dealt with them. Anybody?

Really? If it's working for you, it's worth it.

That is a little high for a no name RN4081, but not too bad. If it works for you, that is all that is important. If you want/need higher quality parts, SmokeStik is also a RN4081, but they are better made than any others that I am aware of. Being an ECF member, you can get 20% off parts, and their cartos(while high priced) Are very good. The menthol is a really mellow menthol w/ vanilla/cream undertones. Plus lifetime warranty on the batts as long as you continue to purchase cartos. They have gold and pink batts on sale right now to ECF members only, and the have a nice cubic zirconium for an ash cap. SmokeStik ::: Alternative Smoking

Can you put the suppliers that you use?

If you are talking to me, here is my list:

Goodprophets.com
Strictlyejuice.com
SmokeStik.com
Myfreedomsmoke.com
Puresmoker.com
Thevaporpro.com(juice NOT recomended)
cignot.com
greenhouseone.com
Rebelvapor.com
Themuttsnutsecigs.com
Digitalciggz.com

Probably a couple others, but I have had good experiences with ALL those suppliers(except for the vapor pro "California Buddy" juice)

You can also check out the ECF suppliers at the bottom of the main page. Many of them have sales weekly. Also, this list is helpfull: Electronic Cigarette Coupon Code Master List - Electronic Cigarette Forum

This would be fine if you assume that everyone is going to find their perfect vape right out of the gate (or that the ones that work for you will work for them too). I'd hate to see someone spend $1000 on Pv's they can't figure out how to use and juice they don't like or that's too weak and have nothing left to rectify it with.

i'm with you on that!!! Its a great idea to place large orders, but you first need to find out what works for you. If I had done that with my first ecig order I would have a case of practically useless KR batteries and 50 boxes of cheap cartomizers that taste lousy. I didn't even know about other models or e liquid at first. Next stop...Riva 510 and trying out attys. If all goes well there...then I would think about stocking up on hardware.

Honestly, the eGo mega attys are the way to go IMHO. They are above and beyond better than the 510 attys on the eGo/Riva. Plus that 2.5ml cart.

meh, it's a hobby. You could find more expensive hobbies anywhere. If anything it sure beats smoking. Whenever I think about how much I spent in the past two weeks on e-cigs, I just think of how much I spent on the new turbo for my track car last month. If that bothers me I remember how much I spent on a new transmission for the track car, and if all else fails I just remember how much the divorce cost me :p although the reason divorces are so expensive is because they are SOOOO worth it hahahahha.

With CE2's, like I said, I don't think I've ever met anyone who liked them, and hadn't modded them. That's not "individual" tastes, if it seems to be a requirement for someone to use the product. It does not work as-is. The fact that nearly everyone who uses them has modded them proves that point.

According to the polls on ECF, a significant chunk (nearly half, if I recall) of cart-users don't mod their carts. It's not required.

You've met one now :). I opened up the CE2 several times to use attempt the mod just to see if it helped/improved them. But i'm too lazy. Whats more I have also shared several of my CE2's with people at work and they have been favorably viewed.
