maybe the V stands for Versatile? variable sounds more like the charge is variable, like those gigantic batteries, ProVari or something.
Star, look in the cart/mini pcc thread, looks like 78's will physically fit inside the case, they are just blocked by two tiny pieces of plastic. So no, it won't charge them as is, but looks to be real easy to make it work.

About clearomizers.... if the problem is always the plastic cracking, why not make it metal, like current housing, but with a plastic "window" on two opposite sides?
It would run long ways, almost the length of the cartomizer. and since there'd be two windows on opposite sides, you could still see through, especially in the light.
Seems the plastic cracking is the only problem holding these back.. so why not think out side of the box? which happens to be half way back to where we started.
I don't know if they've had a problem with the plastic cracking on their prototypes, that was another brand of clearomizer. I only know he wasn't happy with them at that time, and wasn't ready to share samples because of it. Now, though, he's satisfied with them, and I should get samples next week, right after the holiday, and cracking is one of the things I will be on the lookout for.
As for plastic windows in a metal tube, that would require more parts, would either make the carto diameter larger or take up space in the inside, and would be just one more thing that could go wrong in manufacture, resulting in defective cartos.

It was a defensive security protocol. Some chinese hackers attacked the site. Apparently they were hired by a mysterious American businessman to hack in and delete embarrassing pictures of him in a skirt.
LOL. Well it was down for most of the day. To amuse myself I went to VaporTalk (saw shooter plug bloog), then to ecig forum (it kept hijacking me to blu). Weird thing is VT then started having too much traffic (probably from this forum going there) and it went down too. So then I wondered if there WAS some conspiracy or attack on e-cig sites.

I've been forcing myself to use some of the cartos I bought last month riv4l on a whim & huge sale. Gave me a chance to try out a few flavors: chocolate, caramel apple & caramel mocha frapp. Sounds good huh? Blech. Add a little peppermint to the chocolate, meh. Better but still meh.
Hated letting them sit there being wasted. Hoped maybe after a couple weeks I could warm up to them again and get my money's worth. Wrong.
But it did give me a renewed appreciation for how much I love 555, Wowboy & RY4. Gets a little boring having the same things all the time. I'll try the tobacco variety pack and probably the other one too. Maybe there's something new in there for me to add to the 'good' list.
I'm bored.

I just noticed that too. Maybe if we ignore that button it will work????
After a moment it brings me to the last page of the thread but not to the place where I left off. Very annoying. I had become addicted to using that function.
I have mine set to show the most recent first, so usually I only have to scroll down a few posts to find where I left off. But if it worked that would still be a nice feature even when looking at them sorted this way.
This thread was getting too far down in the list, poor thing. So before my husband and I head out to one of our favorite drive-in movie theatres for the night, I just thought I'd get a little ignoring in. Here's to vaping under the stars! 
Between that and the avatar, I'm thinking we've all been having some wierd time travel conversation with someone back in the 50's!! Slim? What's the year in your town???
