On a side note, adding a drip tip to either carto increases it's vapor production and th. Especially the th. If you go with a bloog and have a need for high th, I highly suggest adding a dt.
I've never head this before. I assume you mean just putting the dt on the end of the carto, not necessarily using it for dripping, right? How does this improve th?

very interesting, well considered and written review, thanks!

Exactly Analog sir. It allows for more airflow due to the larger hole. It makes a huge difference. Only time I've ever dripped into it is on a manual at a stop light when driving. Otherwise it makes for easy access when refilling (though the Bloog caps don't require a tool to remove).

Did the best I could sir, it was as unbiased as possible. Neither side pulled ahead of the other in any major way. Really does come down to preference.

Are all the Bloog batts like that?....the soft rubbery kinda cover? I have the white and I do like it.....course I like the shiny riV4L too:) I kinda got the feeling from looking at the pics that the other colors were the same kinda shiney and not the soft rubbery kinda feel.

All MaxxFusion batts but the silver have the rubbery finish.

And thanks for the great comparison, Morandir! :thumb:

My first one was the silver, so I didn't know the others came with the coating. The next two I got with the coating (red & black). I do like the way it feels, less slippery, but I'm also a little afraid of hurting the finish. Don't want to scratch it and end up with it peeling or something.

I dropped mine from my 7th story hotel room and only had a little scratch. That coating is pretty durable.

I would say the driptip vaporproduction talk is a myth. Have several and sometime vape it with nothing on. No difference in performance, other than the bigger the hole the more you have to crinch your lips to close of air from the sides. That gives smokers wrinkles, so dont wanna do that... I use most the little rubber tip from the ce2's. It has a small hole and cant be used for dripping, but get as big a TH as with the driptip, with the bigger hole.. so will say - 1 on that.

Evie +1..but i still want the white with red led....

I just tried a "stove pipe" (no tip at all), and I can't really tell a difference in TH, maybe a slight bit more flavor, I assume from microdroplets of juice that would normally condense on the rubber tip are now hitting my tongue. Can't say I'm much of a TH aficionado though, some is important but I don't really pay much attention as long as it isn't extreme one way or the other. I'd believe that some people could feel a difference though, or that some juices are affected more by this than others. Maybe more of Morandear's ;) menthol from his nuport is hitting his throat increasing th, whereas yours (flavorless? non-menthol?) is less affected?
