Does the Fusion 801 screw all the way down if you use the battery the SP2 came with?

It's hit or miss on getting mine to fire with the 501 adaptor and 501 atty.

No, it doesn't screw down all the way as the metal pin comes up high, but that doesn't bother me.

I have a question.

I have been using the original 510 I started with last Sept and I knew I was on borrowed time at 8 months old. So I got the SP2.

I had never tried an 801 until now. All of the juice flavors are so diminished with the 801! Is this a characteristic of the 801's? Would the Fusion 801 yield more flavor?

Perhaps I need 510 adaptors and stick with what I know I like?

After reading the threads here about the sparkplug, I finally broke down and ordered one late last night (early this morning, actually). I've already received my shipping confirmation! Can't wait to get it!!!

I love these 801 Fusions so much! I just bought about the last 25 from Ikenvape lol. The stainless steel ones are so badass. Greatest cartomizer. @ 3.7 its a nice cool flavorful vape, and @ 5 volts its just incredible vapor and flavor! Less vapor than a dual coil maybe, but better in every other way IMO, less battery drain, better flavor, burns less juice, etc.

With the battery SP2 comes with the Fusions should screws down about all the way. With the ultrafire batt I have, I can screw both caps onto the SP2 fully, but then the Fusion screws on only about one twist or so, but its pretty firm on there. Or screw the Fusion down all the way and just leave the bottom cap not screwed on all the way.

With my Megladon batt in my Thermo, I slap 2 rare earth magnets on the positive end, screw the Fusion down all the way and its a perfect snug fit - and looks sexy with the stainless steel fusions with silver whistle tip. These cartos can pump massive vapor at 5volts and retain their flavor nicely and for pretty long. I'm only going to use these cartos from now on most likely. At 3.7 I really get a good taste with them, and the aluminum whistle tips aren't bad either.

My thermo tube came with the top and bottom caps also so I have two complete units.

I've never tried 801's before the test of the 801 atty and now the Fusion and I love the vapor and as I said clean flavor.

Prior to that I was using a 510 adapter and regular Boges. I think the Fusion is far better.

I will also eventually try the new 510 dual cartos and see how those work.

Does the included atty screw down tight for others?

I'm not really sure what to do. Since so many others are not having this problem, maybe this one and I remember a few others are just not quite right? Is it me?!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe I will see if he will exchange this one for a different one since I do think I would really like it if it worked consistently.

I love watching the birds. Yesterday I thought I heard an oriole but didn't see it so I quick got out an orange and some jelly. This morning I saw it and a short time later, a couple of Grossbeaks! They usually come within a few days of each other. Now I have the hummer feeder out just in case.

I have been looking for the Indigo Buntings but so far have not seen any. They are soooo beautiful but don't stay very long.

Woo-Hoo.................just as I am typing this...........a hummer flew up! It's been a good bird day.

It feels like it is too early for them but I suppose that is because the weather has been so cruddy.

I hope you start seeing more and more.

I have had hummers for awhile now They get here around February but I am in the south. Those tiny little birds are amazing! I have all types of feeders and baths out in my yard. It can be quite a job keeping them all clean and filled but so rewarding too!

Back on topic I got my SP2 and some 801 Fusions. Well I can't get these fusions to screw on to atty connector to save my life! What am I doing wrong?

It's working well now? Many end up with a gap between the tube and bottom end cap and I think they just get a washer or something else to fill the gap.

It is working well, thanks for asking. There is a small gap but not too bad. I am giving this to my mom to try out and hoping that it works for her but don't have my hopes up too high. I think a part of her just does not want to give up the cigs :-(
If she does end up using it I will get the washer. Thanks for the tip

I've had my SP2 for two weeks or so now. The button a little finicky on mine. It is particular about where I push the button. IMHO I do not like the button on the bottom. But it won't keep me from using it.

This is my first mod. I got both the SP2 and thermo. I just ordered new batteries & chargers. I got the ultrafire wf-188 charger with these batteries- AW P17670 3.7V 1600mAh for the thermo. And AW IMR 16340 3.7V 550mAh for the SP2.

Then I got the 5V NIMH battery and charger from electronicstix. I have rare earth magnets to make it fit.

I'm pretty excited. I really want to get the Ikenvape fusion cartos. But it will have to wait.

And I know that I am in the minority here. But after letting the prefilled carts sit for about a week, I actually like the flavor. They were hideous when I first tried them, but pretty good now.

I find my SP easy to push the button, I can use the palm of my hand to do it. No finger needed! Anyone else notice vapor exiting from the bottom of the atty if you don't suck on it immediately?

Yes mine does that too. But only when I'm using the native 801 atty.
