If I wasn't working I would get some pics of my pink one up, but I'm a bit busy right now. **big frowny face** I get off work in a couple of hours maybe I'll try later. I think it's cute. very light weight aluminum and perfect for a stealth vape. can't try it yet til my madvapes order gets in with my 801-510 adapter.

This will have to do for now. Ever notice when you have kids expensive things like cameras are either in their purse, under their bed, or traded to a friend for junk..

(((tibs))) Thanks for remembering honey! ♥ Going to go read all the reviews!!

Lynlee: you need to be a hand model.

TJ: lololol... the trading  I think girls are especially bad about it

OK, someone mentioned lightweight, I was concerned about that... do the batts make it seem more substantial? Is it alluminnum? (can't spell yet.. no coffee)

Zane is right.. the difference between a MOD at 3.7 and an ego is: Egos aren't really 3.7.. plus with this one you can do the 6v with the Turbo sleeve (very easy to change) HOWEVER: USE PROTECTED BATTERIES. Even with the 3.7!!! Those are cheap batts..
PLEASE, I beg you: pay a little more and get protected batteries!!!!!!!!!!!

I was really really tempted to buy this, but I recently bought a used Nhaler Xhaler (mini) from the classys.. paid a lot more than yall did~ lol.. but it looks very similar :p

lol, l'bug - you should have known! i might not always post but i do read and remember!

as to weight since i know this is important to you

ego with cone [no atty or carto attached] 1.2 oz
sparkplug [no atty or carto] 1.7 oz <<<<<<< with battery!

workmanship - very clean
looks - attractive - i got the silver
threads mesh easily, no burrs whatsoever

i have not tried the atty and carts that came with the unit due to my allergies

the 510 adapter leaves a little gap and a ce2 carto does not screw in all the way. this apparently can be remedied with some filing if you're sure you will only use it with 510s. better option, imo, would be to offer a 510 endcap.

a 510 carto performs well on the sparkplug. the xl seems to be out of proportion, it looks better with a regular size carto.

as mentioned before, the bottom button needs getting used to

when you consider that almost any starter kit runs in the same price range, if not more, then this is a great deal. on top of that you are getting true 3.7 vaping. not sure if i will ever use the thermo tube, this thing is BIG!

:)

Great review. I am shocked that it's so light, it must be comparable to my GGslim (which it also bottom button, but long and thin instead of short and round)

It is an amazing price.. I added up everything included, and you would pay more for just the accessories alone, not even including the body of the mod. So for anyone wanting a mod, this is a STEAL.
So to purchase protected batteries (and charger) (which I reccommend highly!!!) it is still a crazy good deal.

Bottom button is common in the smaller mods. There are only so many places you can put a button, so if you are compacting a mod, trying to make the unit smaller, then putting it on the bottom makes sense. This one sounds like the best kind (if it's recessed, it is still quickly accessible, yet not likely to fire accidentally)

Thank you much for the review! Love to hear what you think after using it for a couple weeks, so please keep us updated!!

I haven't seen it first hand, but that was what they are saying. Also, someone took apart the charger, and it *may* not be safe either.

That doesn't mean the deal isn't good... but I want yall to be safe!!! Better safe than sorry.. !!!

A cheap solution for 2 batteries and a 1 cradle charger would be madvapes for about 17 dollars, but I checked this morning and they're sold out of those batteries. I already had batteries and chargers so I ordered the unit without and don't know about the quality of the ones sold with the kit other than what I've read on this forum.

If the bats are the LiFPo4(sp) then they are safe but not fully protected and will run a slightly lower voltage but they won't blow up or anything like that.... Just wanted to throw that out there!-)

I corresponded yesterday with McDonald and I asked about the unprotected batteries that come with the kit. He told me has not heard of anyone having a single problem with the batteries or charger for 3.7v. He also told me that protected batteries should be used with the Thermo.. He recommended Tenergy 16340/cr123a 3v/900mah for it. I ordered 4 batteries with a charger off of eBay.

I can't wait for mine to get here. I ordered the Sparkplug in blue.
