Everything is going better now. I explain my purchases such as the provari and she understands. I still get a good ribbing on how much more expensive this has become in comparison to smoking. She also understands the cost difference in the long run. I just explained to her the start up costs are a bit steep. I've begun to aquire a small assortment of juices. All but one flavor passed her smell test. Definitely not a peach fan.

What wonderful news that your wife has come around. I would guess that most spouses will when they find out that vaping works to get off cigarettes. Making sure that a toy for you means a toy for her ought to keep your wife enthusiastically onboard.

You might want to let the peach steep for awhile, particularly if you got it from a vendor who mixes flavors immediately before shipping. Many freshly mixed juices need steeping time to taste/smell right.

AuBadge already said it, although I would make it a point to say you were dependent on cigarettes, and yes, you traded one dependance for another. Owning up to what it is takes the wind out of any argument brewing.

My wife and I are separated. When I first started, I was using 21st Century e-cigs, and she would complain that the smell bothered her. Never mind that I had finally quit! No parade for me, who smoked his entire adult life to that point, and got constantly ragged on by her for not having the mental "balls" to quit cold turkey like her (I shouldn't even get started on that. She smoked Ultra Lights, I smoked Newport 100's and eventually, Swisher Sweet Little Cigars at over a pack a day) I quit and heard the same lines "you just traded one addiction for another!" "It smells awful, use it outside!".

I switched to my eGo and the last couple visits have been great. At first, she didn't even ask until a day later what I was wearing on my lanyard. Then, when she smelled Red Bull, she asked me at first if I had just burped. I said no, and she turned and saw me exhaling vapor. Right when I could see she was about to lash out, her whole face changed and she said "That's what you meant by vaping Red Bull? That's Red Bull?" and ever since, not a word of complaint.

(She's a one-can-a-day Red Bull drinker)

I beg you not to go back to analogs. Admit you are an addict and show her some of the health related research you can easily find using google regaurding analogs vs vaping. Also in the long run you will actually save money vapeing as opposed to analogs. Hang in there and if all else fails file for a divorce and get yourself a vapor chick.

Happy Vaping

Lol it just took a few weeks of me not smelling like an ash tray to convince her of the benefits. She's come around slowly.
I'm just beginning to benefit from steeping my juice. Juices I purchased 3 weeks ago have been steeping and the flavored changed a lot ( for the better ).
No offense taken on the divorce comment. She's my second wife. I love her attitude. Her skepticism is a good thing. More times than not she's made me look at things longer, thinking through , rather than be my usual impulsive self.
