I re-did the coil, pushed it lower (below the top of the post) but not too low where it touches the bottom. I pushed it inner so it doesn't touch the cap when I close it.

I think it would be a good idea to get a hold of Rob for some help. Give him a call...see he can help you get this squared away....daylight hours, of course. 
I don't know anything about the original Reomizer, but I'm guessing that if Rob says it's due to a broken gasket on the atomizer, it's probably due to a broken gasket on the atomizer.
It shouldn't be though...the gasket looks fine...
I don't want to spend another $30 buying another atomizer...
Currently vaping through my $20 HHV-eGo with Vivi Nova, not bad.
I would package it all up, REOmizer and REO and send it to Rob....minus juice and battery of course. That's just me, but after two shorts I would want everything checked.
And a meter of some sort for checking your rebuildables is essential, especially in the beginning.

If you are not testing the Reomizer before putting it on the REO then you are taking a chance at collapsing your spring.
I would not try it again IF you can't check it first.
It would be best to NOT use the Reomizer. Use another atty or cartos on your REO until you can check your ohms on the Reomizer.
Like Robert said the Reomizer had problems that is why he pulled it from the site and does not sell them anymore.
Please save your last spring! Buy a ohms checker or use a multimeter before you put a RBA on your REO.
Please send the mod and the atomizer to me I will repair it and send it back asap. Please put
a note with your email address and a brief description of the problem .Also
empty any e juice in the mod and remove the bottle .It helps to put a tissue
or napkin around the tube .

Yeah...I hate myself for trying it again and again and killed 2 of my springs hoping luck would be on my side after another rebuilt of the Reomizer. Any recommendations on ohms checker or multimeter? Are they expensive? No experience with it...
Which pictures? Mine on the photobucket or the pics from the rebuild tutorial? The OP deleted the pics from the first tutorial but the 2nd one is just as good. I followed it the second time I rebuilt the Reomizer worked fine.
The atomizer & cartomizer ohm meter is the best to have in my opinion. But they have been out of stock at all the vendors for a few weeks now.
You can pick up a multimeter at RTD or other vendor sites. They are not expensive. If you go with one from RTD use ECF5 for 5% off.

A couple of other folks have been having this issue also. Photobucket pics work fine but any pics uploaded directly to the forum won't show up.
From other threads about this:
Try closing your browser and then opening it again.
Clear the cache and make sure cookies are enabled.
Try a different browser.
Reboot your PC and try again.
Someone had posted that there was an issue with the forum itself but supposedly this has been fixed.
Canonikon - It is possible that Rob (redeyedancer) will not see your query here - probably better to pm him.
I don't really want to do the complete $23 rebuild though..because the bottle caps, o rings, gaskets, center post positive, contact spring, and button all are fine...
I think it could be the Reomizer, after rebuilding it melted the first spring...might buy the Reomizer 2 if that's the case.
But can I just send it to you and have you take a look at it and then decide where we go from there?

For all of the time you've invested trying to trouble shoot it you could have had a RM2.
The mod works or it wouldn't work with your other atomizers.
Personally the choice is simple send it for repair or buy an RM2. Whatever you do stop investing time in a RM1 which was discontinued.
Also I learned the hard way. ALWAYS test your coils w/ the RM2 on another mod to make sure it's not shorting out. Sometimes it will short even if your not able to see where.

Yeah, I'm gonna send it to Rob tomorrow. Hopefully the Master will be able to figure out what's wrong with my Reo Grand, maybe it needs a complete rebuilt, maybe it's the Reomizer.
I will update this thread and let everyone know the result when Rob sends it back to me.
