It probably means one of the US distributors wrote a letter. Sites like 101 likely feel it's not worth it. So now we have to wait until fasttech gets back from vacation....

But Swiss copyright which may be in compliance with WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization Copyright Treaty)
- which would really only affect USA and Europe.
They would claim intellectual property of their name.
They probably wouldn't do anything but make threats.
I think MMV is doing the same thing about the Poldiac clones.

Vivid indicates they still have some. "Braving the murky waters" - or perhaps simply not opening any mail from Vaporev, StattQualm and assorted legal representation. ;-)
I know a vendor in Spain who received a communication from StattQualm asking them to stop selling the clones.
A lot of vendors are just giving the clones a different name - like the El Squinio in Germany, the packaging has no name except for the clone company logo anyway.
The Genie is out of the bottle now, it's going to be difficult issuing legal threats to every vendor that sells the clone.

I just received mine from Vivid Smoke.
They claim it's HCigar - but I have strong doubts. No Hcigar logo on the box.
The tank is poly. The drip tip has the little cut ring. The knurling is not the same as the Tobeco or Ehpro.
I dunno.
It has a thick 510 center post insulator that protrudes out 2mm. I replaced it with an insulator from a evod head.
The chimney had uncut metal from where the hex head fits in - blocking airflow. I drilled it out.
The airflow grooves are fairly small and poorly machined. I used carbide bit in a dremel and enlarged them.
The airflow hole in the connector was pretty small too. Only one hole in this one.
I enlarged the airhole and drilled another in the other side.
I also drilled out the center airhole in the deck to 3/32".
At least I know the deck is aluminum.
The lead capture screw heads were hitting the inside of the chimney and keeping it all from screwing together flush.
They also scraped the coating inside the bell. I shaved down the heads of those screws.
After all that I finally and 10+ builds later - I finally got it to where the flavor is decent and no dry hits.
I can't get it to keep up at subohm. I ended up at 1.25ohms. I don't have a VV mod that fits this beast.
The draw is still too tight for me.
I think the vape on a protank/clearomizer tank is just as good or better (modded and rebuilt).
I don't know how people compare this to a Kayfun/R91.
I should have my Taifun Gt and Gs clones here tomorrow. I pray they are better than this squape.
At least it came with an allen key. lol. I have a million.

Wow! You've made my Tobeco seem like a Michelangelo!! What a disaster that thing is. Makes me very happy I got the Tobeco while it was available. Good to know that one has a polycarb tank...I'll steer clear of those. Thanks for the update.
And the plot, as they say, thickens.
Could it be that the maker(s) prefers to remain anonymous... to avoid possible litigation? "Sterile" packaging... what will they think of next eh?
Never the less... well review'd, 4th power, but sadly - with those necessary "corrections" required to obtain - no better than a Protank class vape.
I got my Taifun Gt clone today - up and running 0.8ohm micro cotton (no modifications) - destroys Squape.

no dought, glad I didn't order one! these things are hard to find, any of the ones I have found recently, the vendors don't ship here... I wish I could find either the Tobeco or Rainbow Heaven version... I would have thought this clone would be popping up everywhere by now?
Ebay seller is selling an awesome looking Squape clone that supposedly doesn't have a deck coating that wears in time. Made by Winsmoke. Looks nice and is tempting! Plus he linked my vid in the description. Pretty cool.

I ordered the Hcigar version from vividsmoke for $43 (they are still available)....I have never been let down by Hcigar so I expect this to be pretty much a 1 to 1 copy. I'll let everyone know how it turns out when I get it.
this looks and sounds like the RH clone... all gone though. edit: I see now its made by winsmoke? never heard of them

Look back to my post - I got mine from Vivid Smoke thinking it was HCigar - more like HCiGarbage.
Oh no....I ordered mine before you had made your post. I am praying you just got a dud because there is no way I am going to make all those modifications to make it vapeable. I looked on the web for HCigar Squape and all the pictures look exactly like yours....even with the protruding 510 insulator.
Just some comments regarding your review... the original has a plastic tank as well. The original also has only one hole in the 510 connector but with an indent on the other side if you want add a second airhole. But the rest of the stuff you mentioned is incredible....I can't believe Hcigar would put out such a bad clone. Everything I got that is Hcigar has been perfect. God I hope you got a dud. I will let everyone know how mine turns out.

I think I just got raped by VividSmoke. And it hurts cuz I usually don't spend that much on a clone.

I was thinking about the Hcigar one to add to my Tobeco Squape clone (which has been working great so far). Thanks for the heads-up as to the problems -- will be giving that a pass. Sorry that yours turned out to be so poorly built.
yup and i ordered it .. I am just getting into the rba stuff.. Just got a nemeis clone in and a kraken clone and the squape clone from this seller should be here tomorrow.. I purchased the squape it because of your review.. this one on ebay was one of the only ones i could find and it was a plus becuase it didnt have that mystery metal you were talking about .. ..
