Ordered one today for the wife. If the mystery coating don't kill her I'll probably order another one for myself...either way is a win win lol!

given China's track record regarding public safety i am not willing to ever give then the benefit of the doubt.
as oppossed to the pristine and unvarnished health concerns american and every other country's businesses have shown in the past. at least china executes their executives when they screw up. here we slap their wrists and promote them......
I wonder if a clone could be purchased, strip the unknown coating off and have a FDA approved anodizing applied. One coating I used to use on product contact parts in the Pharmaceutical industry was called Martin Hard Coating. It would make the aluminum very hard on the top two or three thousands of an inch in thickness and was NON conductive electrically.
Or just step up and buy the real thing...
When you say you can’t get the glass back in, do you mean that it won’t go in, or won’t stay in?
The tank is actually glass. I know that since I dropped it in the sink when I was washing it and it cracked. I replaced it with an old plastic carto tank that I found in the junk vape box. Just had to cut it to length to match the original glass tank and put a slight bevel on the edge to help it slide past the first O-ring. I also replaced the O-rings with ever so slightly thicker ones which are doing a better job at keeping the tank in place.
I think the glass from an IBT halfling tank would fit. Going to try that out when I get a chance.
Other than the tank breaking (due to my slippery fingers) it’s been working very well so far. Keeping an eye out for discoloration issues, but so far, so good.
does anyone know where you can get this clone? 101 vape is sold out...
I know someone who has a squape clone and doesn't like it, if you can't find one for sale anywhere.
I bought one last week and the build quality and finishing are great. It is polished and shining. The one I got came with an allen wrench and according to the seller this might be from HCigar not Tobecco. It produces great VTF and so far there is no flaking or color changing on the coating. I made the air holes on the 510 connector, between the center posts and on the chimney bell bigger to 1.5mm or 1/16 and it is not as tight as it came. Really love this clone and for me the flavor is better than my kayfun 3.1 gamma clone.
