yea you know like last month when purina made that batch of petfood that killed all the dogs that ate it, or when borden made all that poison baby formula that was killing infants. or like that time USG made all that sheetrock that causes undefined illness and has to be removed using toxic contamination crews and had to go through a class action lawsuit.

Oh wait................... that was all chinese products.................. sorry.

while no one in their right mind would ever say US companies are free of indiscretions we dont knowingly make products that outright kill our people just to save a buck on milk solids for infant formula.

so yea my belief still stands - if they care so little for the well being of their own people why would they ever care about me when they know I can do nothing about it if i get sick? what am I gonna do, write an angry email to madvapes?

But seriously folks... is there one among us who has not thought, "gee... perhaps I should not have killed that person?"

Oh... wait, maybe that is just me.

I wonder if a clone could be purchased, strip the unknown coating off and have a FDA approved anodizing applied. One coating I used to use on product contact parts in the Pharmaceutical industry was called Martin Hard Coating. It would make the aluminum very hard on the top two or three thousands of an inch in thickness and was NON conductive electrically.

Or just step up and buy the real thing...

I got the Squape clone for Christmas and was not aware of this problem. I don't have any discoloration because I've only vaped 1.5 tanks. The glass in the tank is held in by two O-rings. It came loose and my juice poured out all the holes. I can't get the glass (I know it's not glass) back in so it's been unusable since the 26th. That's actually how I found this thread. I was looking for an answer to that. I know there is one because you can buy another tank online. Even if I get it fixed. I be waiting to hear whether it's safe to use or not.

When you say you can’t get the glass back in, do you mean that it won’t go in, or won’t stay in?

The tank is actually glass. I know that since I dropped it in the sink when I was washing it and it cracked. I replaced it with an old plastic carto tank that I found in the junk vape box. Just had to cut it to length to match the original glass tank and put a slight bevel on the edge to help it slide past the first O-ring. I also replaced the O-rings with ever so slightly thicker ones which are doing a better job at keeping the tank in place.

I think the glass from an IBT halfling tank would fit. Going to try that out when I get a chance.

Other than the tank breaking (due to my slippery fingers) it’s been working very well so far. Keeping an eye out for discoloration issues, but so far, so good.

I too broke the tank (sob) and like you replaced the glass with a 20mm OD plastic tank from an AGR which works just fine and I no longer have to worry about breaking it.

I bought one last week and the build quality and finishing are great. It is polished and shining. The one I got came with an allen wrench and according to the seller this might be from HCigar not Tobecco. It produces great VTF and so far there is no flaking or color changing on the coating. I made the air holes on the 510 connector, between the center posts and on the chimney bell bigger to 1.5mm or 1/16 and it is not as tight as it came. Really love this clone and for me the flavor is better than my kayfun 3.1 gamma clone.
