Half my liquid leaked out overnight. Seems to be coming out the airhole. I rewicked, but am still experiencing minor leakage. Newbie wicking issue or other problem? Interesting my first few wicks were fine, but I admit the one last night was thin. However I put a fatter one in this morning, and still seem to be having a problem.

W deck and rayon. Cutting the wick at the edge of the deck.

Same thing happened to me, cut the wick at the edge of the deck and started leaking, my fix was to cut the wick out past the deck and a little bit into the channel. There seems to be a fine line for leak/no leak....

Ok, then its probably on me learning how to wick it. Funny I got it right the first few times and messed it up now. But I've only been building about 2 months and its new.

Roxy, rayon settles a little bit (like ±10-15% after about 4-5ml) and it'll leak on you when you go a little looser on the density. Also, if your coil is narrower than the channels, you probably didn't have enough wick in the channels. You could try going a little tighter on the density (should be tight but still able to slide back and forth), then fluff the tails up with a needle, or try a wider coil, or try what I do on the Orchid: leave one or two strands long (think Fu Man Chu :D) and run them maybe halfway down the channels. You don't need a lot - rayon has crazy surface tension - too much would probably block the channels. I've heard with the Erl, the tails have to .... right up to the chimney - maybe that's true of this monstrosity as well, so when you trim the tails, maybe go a hair past the deck edge instead of flush.

Ugh, it took FT long enough to ship it out (STILL don't have mine) - I should've just cancelled it when I had the chance! :grr:

Roxy, you're freaking me out with all these problems!

But it's not leaking up there, right?

No, but a vacuum leak above the juice level seems more likely than my wick.

So that leaves (I think):
1. Top o ring
2. Air getting in where the chimney screws into the top cap

So I will be tearing down once again to try to determine which it is :( I'm pretty close to returning it.

Sounds like I'll be skipping the Squape for my first RDA. :) Rose clone it is!

I love the Rose. But, its not the easiest build. If you haven't yet, watch some build videos. You might decide to get some practice first with a kayfun/Lemo, taifun or rda :)

Have some more info, and would like opinions. I've had the SqR upside down in the stand for the Rose for almost 3 hours. It has leaked a little into the opening the drip tip fits into. Think it has an airleak where the chimney fits into the top cap? If so, do you think the o rings on the drip tip are supposed to prevent that? The chimney itself doesn't have an o ring.

I suppose it could still be the top o ring for the plastic tank section as well.

I'm actually leaning towards the Ivogo KFL2 at angelcigs but the Rose is only like $4 more. They don't say who makes it though! I really dig the Lemo but moneys kinda tough and the extra $10 really matters otherwise I'd get the EHPro KFL for $40 at 101Vape. Who knows only "payday" will hehe.

Fluid Vapes has the EHPro kfl+ for $27 and the v2 for $30. They are nice clones. My crappy SqR is Ivogo and I'll never buy anything made by them again.

Rad!!!! Thanks, its so hard finding all the vendors out there! Google shows me plenty of eBay sales but I'm steering clear of that haha.. Now I just gotta go look at the differences. There's TOO many revs of KFs haha. Just want a single coil that holds like 4-5ml and won't be too big on my MVP!!!

I have 2 of them coming from FT SKU # 1882100.

Normally I'm excited about getting vape mail but with all the problems that everyone seems to be having, I wish I would have waited until I read some reviews on the cloned product. I jumped the gun because I was worried that all the companies would pull these due to the cease order from the original manufacturer.

This is one order that I really dread getting. Was too late to cancel because mine were shipped out a day before all the negative comments started coming in.
