stanthemanchan did you get an extra bag of parts? There should be two clear/white o-rings. Now I will agree it doesn't look they will go in there but I will tell that they do. You ask how in the hell would he know, cuz I messed with mine until they were seated perfectly and the glass section is not leaking..... now.

Yep, I was convinced they were too loose, but they aren't. They really do go into the tiny grooves. It just took me almost 2 hours to figure out where they went and get them in.

Thanks so much, Marc. Death to Chuckie, lol! And hopefully welcome to a new, improved SqR!

From the comments at G Vapers sounds like you did get lucky hehe.. The tanks listed as PMMA, so its plastic...

I just looked on their site and yes the version they stock now is the one I have. however not the one I ordered, that's ok though I can live without a glass tank... just glad it works correctly. haven't found one flaw yet (shocked)

I'm not giving up roxy. I just ordered the O-rings and were putting Chucky down. I'm going to take this ride with you. I also picked up some 1mm by 17, 18 and 19 to see if we couldn't improve the rings inside the tank. It will take a couple days to get here but we'll have solid tanks when we are done!

And then post everything here, cuz I'm sure I'll be going through the same hell when mine finally gets here in a couple of days.

The diameter of the white o-rings is too loose for it to fit in the groove. When one side goes in, the other side pops out. I don't have the dexterity or patience to get this thing to work so I'm just going to chalk it up as a loss. I would say the ridiculous effort required to get this thing to work out of the box far outweighs the vape that you can get out of it, especially considering an Erlkonigin clone can be had for less and is far easier to set up.

They really do go in but are a pita. I used a straight precision screwdriver to help hold one side while I worked on the rest of it. That helped.

stanthemanchan, I know it's a PITA but they do go into the grooves. Bend a paperclip into a little hockey stick and you'll have it in there in no time. It's really worth trying, the vape once you get it set up is pretty good.

If you weren't North I would offer to set it up for you.

If you toss in the towel for now put it in a drawer and when I get all the right O-rings going I will post the sizes. Just take a break, damn thing can be frustrating but worth trying to set up.

Focal have agreed to send the new parts when they receive them without me having to place another order, so now its the waiting game.

I hope we can all get these tanks to work properly so we can finally vape them without worry! :vapor:

Same here, I got the e-mail this morning.

update from last night - my Squape R is doing great after doing the fix on the 510 pin & putting gaskets in the tank. Was able to pull the C deck out this morning & do a build on the W deck. My wick of choice is the 3mm ReadyXwick.

So far no leaking, no dry hits & no flooding. I have it on my Vamo so I can keep an eye on the resistance. It's holding at a steady 1.5 ohm. I built it with Kanthal 28 gauge. Used 4 inches of it. It's easier for me to figure out the resistance I want from the length of the Kanthal, instead of how many wraps on a certain diameter. I don't sub ohm. I like my resistance to be between 1.5 & 1.8 ohm.

I wrapped my coil directly on the wick with a small allen wrench inserted into the center of the ReadyXwick. Set everything in the W wick slot, tightened down the coil to the posts & then removed the allen wrench. Clipped the ends of the ReadyXwick flush to the end of the deck. Easiest built I have ever done. Vapes perfect!!

I'm fortunate to have patience. With some of these clones it does take a bit of fiddling to get them working.

Now I'm waiting for my 2nd Squape R clone to arrive from Fasttech. Should be here in the next day or 2. Hope that one is as good or better. I was really concerned when I read all the problems people were having with their clones & thought I jumped the gun buying these. So far so good. The SKU that I have is 1882100.

Who made your SR clone? Do you know? I still want one but they all seem to have issues atm.

So I got the 510 pin o-ring measured out, it is a 1mm X 4mm, I have some on the way. The 510 pin supplied is a M3 by 15mm, I ordered M3 x 16mm. The ones ordered are not collared like the others but it doesn't seem like it matters. The O-rings inside the tank were tougher because they are flimsy crap. They are also 1mm X 18, 19 or 20. All three sizes are on the way.

Just received Ehpro Zquape R {No LOGO} from ecigity, are they in Hawaii? 'Zquape' is the way it is spelled out. Won't be able to open it or paly with it until I get home tonight. I think this one will be a good one. Fingers ~ Toes ~ and anything else that will ~ crossed! :)

Let us know how that one is. Thats the one I've been seriously eyeing, but waiting until I hear more after seeing all the issues with these clones. Wish it came with the W deck though
