So these tanks that are glued in... Is it possible to get rid of the glue and use o rings? Am I thinking too simply? It seems obvious, but perhaps I'm not seeing the whole picture.
If you're not worried about breaking down the plastic acetone is very good at removing glue but it will probably melt the pc tank too.

Anyway just got mine and low and behold leaks like crazy too. It's the white box one (elekar) I'm thinking about the ehpro one. Has anyone gotten one? And would xc116 work in the standard deck? I wanted to try it out.
U should have the standard deck to see if it will fit but i would say it will but i don't have any xc116 to double check that.

Received my clone ordered from G Vapers today at work. Can't play with it a lot until I get home tonight. But I wanted to test for leaking and clean it up some. I do have some Vodka at work (Shhhhhhhh don't tell anybody). So I stripped the unit down for a soak. One of the screws (positive or neg?) Was in it's post so tight that the post unscrewed before the screw did. Got everything separated with no damage eventually.

With all of the talk about leaking I wanted to fill it up with something to look for leaks. So filled 'er up with the Vodka, closed her up and it leaked like waterfall. Then I thought, "Since you don't have any wire or wick with you at work, of course it is going to leak you idiot." So that test will have to wait until I build it out tonight. I did refill the top again and stood it upside down on it's drip to see if there was any leaking around the tank. I did not have the base attached at all. I figured vodka is so thin, if it ain't leaking with vodka no juice is going to leak. Nothing. No leaking from that experiment.

That's all I'm going to be able to do until later. Any comments or concerns let me know before I get home and I'll play some more and let you all know.

What material is the Tank?
According to Gvapers it is glass because they sold them as a 1:1 copy.
If it ain't glass i will send it back for refund, because i ordered an 1:1 copy and not a look a like.

The Erl Clone from Vaping Tech arrived today.Looks just like the Authentic I almost bought Saturday.
Great quality. A pleasure to build. Followed the Qorax Pictorial almost verbatim. Plenty of vapor and intense flavor!
Took the AFC out completely and it's just right for me. Not what I would consider airy though by any means.
I won't be getting rid of any Kayfuns or Taifuns, but definitely need a few of these in rotation.
Can't decide whether I should buy an Erlprinz, or 2 more of these and just send the originator $40.00. That shipping cost just grates on me.

I ordered the $60 cloned box version from ebay (which has been taken down) I asked him the night I ordered it to please check for leaks before shipment. He tested them and ALL 60 LEAK!!! The seller has been great and has updated me every step of the way. You rock Bob! Sucks you have to deal with this crap. The mfr (Kingtu) is going to make o-ring tanks from now on. Going to have to wait a couple weeks but this will be the best replica at the end of the day.

The seller is going to send me a less leaky tank and ship out the updated tank when it comes in. He said it barely leaks with water so maybe it will contain e-liquid. I'll just torque on some clear packing tape over the windows if I need to.

Anyone try the original Squape? I'm very interested in adding this and the Erlkonigin clones to my RBA list.

Would like some thoughts and how the Squape compares to the Kayfun LP v2 - Thanks!

The original Squape has the air holes right where the 510 threads meet the base. The only mod I can make it work decently on is an MPV with the beauty ring air holes drilled out. Draw is very similar to an authentic Svoemesto V2 - nice vape, but not a lot of air.
