Temporary fix whilst I'm waiting on the replacement top section for my Kingtu, got an original SQ Nano tank - fits and vapes perfectly;

As as postscript - the finish on the official SQ Nano section isn't half as refined as the clone.

My G Vapers Squape R Clone died last night. I took it apart and the only thing I can see is that there just is no connection between the atty and any device I put it on. Apparently I began having issues about a week ago. I screwed the bottom screw (510 connection) out a bit and that got it going again. Then again no connection. Screwed out the bottom 510 screw again and she is firing up again. Then yesterday nothing I did helped.

When taking everything apart it seems that every time I was unscrewing the bottom 510 connection the bottom most deck underneath the 'W' deck was being moved up internally as well. Either something snapped or separated .... something ... which disconnected something which broke the electrical connection. I didn't have a lot of time last night for a deeper investigation, which I hope to get to tonight. It was such a joy to vape with I am very disappointed. But it is a clone, so I am not too shocked.

Maybe some of you on this thread can offer some ideas. Would be much appreciated.

I have an idea, but no SqR clone yet to investigate, so bear with me if its stupid :D

What about a circuit board spacer like Madvapes sells that can be put on the 510 pin of an atty? I wonder if that or even a small piece of maybe a brass pin could be put into the 510 of the atty between the base and screw to fill whatever gap in in there? Or maybe a small spring? Just something to connect the two parts?

That's a drag. Ordered mine from FC on 9/27 and it finally shipped today. Guess I'll find out in about a week or so.

The o rings aren't too big, I had thought so too. They are just employed in a different manner than I had been used to. The o rings fit into grooves on the walls of the metal tank surround. Once I figured that out, no more leaking. Also, make sure that the tank is firmly seated in the top of the metal section by applying firm pressure.

They must of changed supplier or something, I got mine from focal and had no problems leaking from the tank, and from what I could tell, it was glued, I didn't see any orings for the tank, but admit I didn't look at it hard though, I did have leaking from the airflow over night last night, but think that was due to my build, as been using for nearly 2 weeks with no issues.

Nailz, I bet you have o rings. They're tough to see when they're in place. They do their job well though.

I did pull on the tank a little bit, and didn't move, I am cleaning it later, so would say I will try to get it out to see, but don't want to risk not being able to get back in and then have the same leaking problem a lot are having from the tank, so I will just say I got lucky with mine I guess :)

I got the focale and gvapes version.

Focale; came in a black box with a plastic tank mounted with o-rings, cleaned it, build it and vaped it....except for the plastic tank is it a very good clone with smooth threads no leaking and a very stable 510 pin and very good coating.

Gvapes;Elakar box with a description on it that tells you it has a borosilicate glass inner tank.....NOT it's plastic.
It came with lots of machine-oil so cleaning is a must.
When i disassemble it for cleaning and removed the AFC the ball bearing assembly fell out..???? the hole for that is drilled way to big.
After cleaning in the Ultrasonic device and rubbing it with alcohol i noticed that the W and S deck have a different color then the chimney and C deck, also the W and S deck are staying sticky no matter what i clean it with.
The tank is hold in place by also O-rings and is not leaking.
The 510 pin connection is rubbish, it's very wobly, way to thick ( shorts out easy with the 510 thread housing) and it screws itself in and out when you mount the atty on a mod.
Also the connection plate beneath the build deck is bad the thread for the 510 positive pin is the big they drilled the hole to big so the 510 pin screw is barely catching the tread and that is why it is so wobly and you can't fixate it at desired position.
My advice do NOT put this atty on a mech mod, it has a very great potential to short out.
For twice the price of the focale one it's a piece that's need a lot of modification and you will keep the problem with the bad connection plate.
