I suspect mine will be the same. Where did you order them from? I got mine from Micro Fasteners. Wonder if the heads can be ground down a bit?

I will tear mine down before bed and see what those 20mm screws are like.
Is it ok if the head sticks out a bit? Or does it not fit on the mod?

The head sticks out and won't recess into the hole. It sits right on top of the 510 connector.
I have the same box, it was a pre-order from FT. I keep coming back to follow your tests and see whether or not i can make it work. I couldn't wait when i saw the pre order for an rta that has been MIA for so long and now I see i should have. I wish i had the dedication you all have shown.
I get that. I was thinking it wouldn't really matter though as far as getting a connection and holding everything in place.
Maybe we can do what some others did. Find an allen head like a Rose grub screw (head also 3mm diameter so its flush with the pin, screw it up here and then cut our pins to finish the fit.
FC says my parts are on the way.
Last night I did some searching as well for 3mm x 16mm grub screws (headless Allen head). Hard to find in SS in the US, but one ebay seller has some. Do you guys/gals think those would work if nothing else does?

FT just told me that they do not send a repair kit for my PMMA "Satin". They ONLY send another bag of spare parts just like the one I already have.
Who is FC and exactly what are they sending you? Can I order same from them assuming it's going to be helpful. A URL? Satin still needs help.
edit: disregard the below post. The thing has gone back to being possessed. It's shorting on me now. Not going to mess with it anymore until I have a longer 510 screw.
Finally got my SqR clone functional, for now. Still needs a longer 510 pin but with the existing one double o-ringed it will fire with consistent resistance on my Hana clone. No leaks at all so far. I don't want to manhandle it too much since I suspect the 510 pin isn't threaded into the deck very far. But, it's working and the vape is fantastic.

Focalecig. They aren't selling the kit to my knowledge. They are providing it to people who bought a SqR from them and are having issues.
I sure hope the new pin isn't the exact same one.
Just in case I bought a set of the grub screws from ebay. One of these darn screws better work. O rings, piece of insulator, whatever to hold it in place and right length better fix this thing.
I'm tired of it going off the deep end after days of working and burning my juice (and scaring the crap out of me). Someone will get hurt.
My logo~less Zquape has been working wonderfully since my last update. Others are in a drawer. Threads and screwing base on & off are still stiff, but not a deal breaker. I've been using it so much the wick has gotten really dark. I'm going to take the wick out tonight, dry burn the coil and rewick. Actually makes me look forward to getting the real deal. They might have stock availability next year some time. They should have more made and offered by then, don't ya think? Oh, well, until then I'll enjoy the Zquape
Did you get the EHPRO version? Still want one of these but currently messing with my Erlkongin clone (pet name - The Big Dripper) since it leaks all over me when I look at it

I'm sending "Satin" back to H E L L where he belongs! Not worth my time and I don't trust it with resistance jumping around like a bull frog. Since FT offered to pay the shipping back I'm going to send it the fastest and most expensive way I can find. They DID NOT qualify their offer. /lol
At least with my next victim in a few weeks, I can blame Marc!!!!!! /lol /joke

Only a couple of concerns I'd have with those and they may not even be warranted. My first concern would be the o-ring staying put with no head. The second concern is how conductive is black oxide alloy steel?

You could always heat shrink the end. Only thought with the grub screw is, would the mod pin be able to make sufficient contact, despite the allen key hole? And yeah, that's why I'm looking at zinc, which is even more conductive than SS. lol... true enough. I have 50 on the way. Of course, if they don't work, that doesn't do any of us any good. I should have them on Thursday or Friday. The ones you linked to look pretty good but they are ePacket from China so it'll be a bit before you see them.
