Hey guys, this is just a thought. If you have a shorting Squape R Clone that you are planning to throw away. Ship it to me instead, I'll pay for shipping.

Just curious...have you insulated the coil hole for the deck? The W deck for my Ivogo has lost some coating so coils short eventually. That's the only reason I stopped using it. I've been meaning to try that or see what I think of the C deck.

If I don't, I'll Pm you and let you have it. I did take out the insulator I made for the pos pin and put it in my Kingtu. So I would also need to make another insulator to use it again. But, it doesn't leak at all.

I've insulated everything from anything to be exact. Positive disk on both sides, both wire posts and 510 pin.

I have jins my self, my Ehpho SQr leaked a whole tank of juice last night, i believe from the 510 connection. I don't want to reread the last 50 pages of post to see if there is a fix. Roxy can you help me out?

I don't think it could come out the 510 unless its going out the airflow. When that happens, its not enough wick.

If you are using the W deck, use a 7/64" ID coil (2.8-3.0mm). That will give you enough wick to fill the slots. Cut it right at the deck edges otherwise it might dry hit OR the chimney might grab it and pull it out of the slots.

I've had 2 leaks between my 3. First time my wick was too skimpy. The second time was on the Kingtu because the chimney hits the deck. It grabbed the very edge of the wick on one side and pulled it out of the slot.

When I got my first Squape r, my Russians got put aside. I ordered my second Squape R. By the time it arrived, I had purchased an Atlantis, and a Lemo. With those added to my collection, the Squapes have joined my Russians. And now I got the Kanger Subtank, and the Lemo is gone too. Now All I'm using is the atlantis and the Subtank.

I now have 3 Squape R Clones. I just acquired two more from fellow vaper.
From left to right: Kingtu - E.H.Pro - Coppervape (I belive) from Fast Tech.

First of all: There was nothing wrong with E. H. Pro one, it worked out of the box.

Kingtu was dead short and positive disk was glued down in the bottom of the base. I had to keep it in acetone overnight to remove the disk.

Then the fun began. First of all, I made 2 new positive pins and drilled 510 connector to install delrin insulators. E.H.Pro one came that way from the factory, the other two I drilled. Then I made three new brass Positive disks wrapped in delrin cups for insulation instead of the original e-metal ones. I made them smaller and thinner, so when installed in their delrine cups, they are the same size as the original. Then I made all new skinny wire posts and put delrin tunes on them. Note: Kingtu has smalled post holes in it's deck then E.H.Pro and Coppervape.
All three are working fine now.

Like I said, I didn't really have to do that to E.H.Pro one, but I did it anyway as a piece of mind, and to keep them all the same. God only knows what kind of e-metal technology were they using.

I don't know what is wrong with my wicking Squapes with Rayon. All three of them are wicked about the same. And all three of them are leaking a little bit if left upright overnight. I usually trim the tails and leave a little bit more then you see in my pictures. Then I fine tune my Rayon by trimming it until I get the best performance and wick saturation out of it. But now I'm faced with leaking.
What am I doing wrong?

Yeah, bigger diameter coil so you get the right amount of wicking. 7/64" (2.8mm) is the one.

I've only had 2 leaks between my 3 SqRs in 3 months. First was not enough wick. Second was Kingtu clone chimney rubs the deck screwing/unscrewing the tank and grabbed a bit of wick and yanked it out of the slot.

And cut it right at the deck edges.

I had the same problem, Roxy told be to use more wicking material. I am using Organic Cotton btw, but the leaking stopped. It was leaking from the air control ring. I am sure Roxy will read this and add any other comments if needed.

Thanks guys, I will increase diameter of my coils to get more wick. I've been using 2.4mm, will switch to 2.8 - 3.0mm
And thanks, Roxy for realizing that 7/64 is "gibberish to me", I would have had to convert it into Metric anyways but you did it for me.
B. T. W. I was afraid you'd say something like: "It's because you've modified your Squapes R so much" and It would've hurt my feelings because I put so much work into them. But you didn't say that and Thai's music to my ears. :)

Uh, no, I think you went above and beyond the rest of us fixing these crappy things. Frankly I'm amazed!

What's the best squape r clone? I know I know. It varies. :) im not impressed thus far with my kanger subtank and have always liked the squape series. Just can't justify spending 170 for an authentic.
I would say Ehpro or Wotofo. I am sure others will chime in. I was thinking about getting a kanger subtank. Can you provide more info, flavor, vapor, pre made coils ???

Finally! I've wanted to post here but didn't have enough posts. I was a member a long time ago and lost my info after being away for some time. I have the ehpro clone and an authentic. I put an authentic w base in the ehpro and it works great. You do have to keep the wick pretty heavy though. But that goes for both clone and authentic.
